The Fall *A Luke Hemmings FanFic*

Chapter One

"So this is it" I say as I am about to step into my school, the one I have been going to for four years since being in Australia, and now it is my first day of my last year. The nostalgic memories come flooding back into my mind from those few years I have spent here, from the first day of my first year and where I made my best friend, Ashton, who I am already missing terribly.

You see, Ashton is a year older than me and he graduated last year, he hasn't gone to university yet Thank God because he's been trying to get some gigs and auditions to be in some bands because ever since I've known him he's been obsessed with this dream of playing in a band and I do hope his dream comes true. God do I miss him being here with me he always makes me happy I'm missing seeing his cheeky smile and first period hasn't even started, the day has just begun, today is going to be hell. 

I am suddenly snapped out of my thoughts when the bell rings and the other students are entering the room. "Good Morning students, I'm glad to see you here today! My name is Mrs. Lemon, kinda funny I know" She chuckles along with some others in the class. She is explaining how she'd like things to go and by the time she is finished she hands out some English books and the bell rings to go to next period.                                                                                                                                      The day is seeming to go by really fast I decide to meet my friend Aly for lunch, we have been friends since I can remember. "So where would you like to go for lunch Cass?" she says as soon as we are walking to her car "I don't care really, It's up to you" I reply. "Alright then uh Maccas?"  I nod as she we pull out of the parking lot, I decide to text Ashton to tell him i'm having a good first day and he replies "Aha Great!!! I knew you would, Hey do you and Aly want to meet me at the frozen yogurt place after you're out?" I ask Aly and she agrees so I text back "Yeah! We'll meet you later" "Sounds good bye☺"  I put my phone away as we pull into Maccas.

  Time seems to go by fast. The final bell rings and I already see Aly at the gates. We ride to the yogurt shop down the street and we see Ashton sitting at the table when we pull up, As soon as we get there he greats us both with a smile with a cup of froyo in hand "Hey! I would have gotton you both some icecream but I was afraid it would have melted" "It's allgood Ash we'll go get ours" Aly says as she interlocks her arm with mine and we get some icecream. As we are in line I notice a cute blonde guy  checking us out and he gives me a cute smirk when he notices me glancing at him, as we are about to pay the lady  tells us "It's been paid by the lad in the back" me and Aly look where she is pointing and sue enough it was the brunette that was checking us out. We nod and smile and return to our seats by Ashton. He looks at us and says "I got some AMAZING news guys" "You're Pregnant! Congrats man!" Aly jokes and we all giggle and Ashton speaks up "No, hopefully not, but really ya know that group that needed a drummer and my sister is friends with one of them" Aly and I both nod rhythmically "Well we have meet up a few times and today they told me that we got a gig together at some party this weekend and they want me to join their band for good"                                                                                                                                

 "ASHTON THAT'S AMAZING" I yell and we get some pretty odd looks from others around us but we all just laugh and Aly adds and says "Ashton that's so rad!  When can we meet them and watch you guys play?" He thinks for a moment.

"Um actually I was hoping you both would come to the party or-"

"YES YES YES" I interrupt him before he can even finish "Haha sounds great I-" he's interrupted again by the ringing in his pocket

"Hang on..OH it's Cal!"

"Who?" Aly questions as I was thinking the same,

"Callum, he's in the band lemme get this okay" he walks out of the small shop and in moments he is back in collecting his things and explains that he has to go over and practice.

As he leaves I notice that blonde boy coming up to our table. Aly obviously notices it too because she is giving me this smile and winks at me. She really wants me to hook up with someone because she has a boyfriend and me and Ash tried dating but it was kind of awkward because he's my best friend and we just decided we'd be friends instead of date. 

"Hey um, can I sit with you two ladies?" He smirks and I blush a bit and Aly just agrees to let him sit so he pulls up a stool.  "My name is Riley and what about you girls" "I'm Aly and that's Cassie" she points to me and I give him a friendly smile and he touches my hand and says "What lovely names"  he complements us. We have some small talk and laugh a bit and I have noticed the time "Um we should probably get going i'm sorry but-" i'm inturpted by his sweet tone "Well that's fine, may I have your number?" I'm shocked someone really want's my number oh my god "Sure" I say and he seems very happy. We exchange numbers and as Aly and I are getting in the car she says how great that was and is really excited, even more than I am. Wow. What a day.

(okay i'm going to tell you right now that the chapters are not that long and I'm sorry if you like longer chapters but they're not that long okay and they're simple. Also, the story might seem lame or basic but I'm telling you it gets interesting around chapter 11? I promise it's better later on well I think it gets better wayyy better anyways enjoy keep reading and vote maybe? Okay love you all ☺)
