I hear a soft jingle coming from the kitchen that wakes me up. I slide my tired body off the sofa and slump my way over to the noise from my phone I look to see I got five text messages two from Ashton and three from Aly along with five missed calls from her I should probably call her back.
"CAS!" Aly yells
"whaaatt?" I can hear my morning voice break through the phone
"Girl its two in the after noon you should come over here so you can pick stuff out for the party and look really nice" I look to the time and sure enough it is 2:28pm wow did I ever sleep in. It feels nice though.
"Aly, the party isn't until like seven so we have-"
"Ugh blah blah blah just get changed or something I'll be there in ten" she states.
"ten...minutes I havent even ate yet!"
"Well start making some pancakes and I'll join you" Aly chuckles.
"Okay okay see you soon" I smile and hang up before I get a reply.
I see Aly's car pulling into the drive way. I set out a plate of pancakes for her as she walks through the door.
"Mmm, smells delish!!!"
"Aha thanks it's just chocolate pancakes" I tell her as she devours them in a matter of minutes.
"oh my god Cassie those were amazing you should become a cheff. Oh I can see it now on TV "Pancake Boss with Cassie Jewels"" we both throw our heads back in laughter.
"okay okay..." she tries to breath after laughing "We really need to pick out some good shoes"
"Yeah lets go check my closet" I tell her, she nods and follows me up to my room.
She passes me to enter my closet we start rummaging through things but all we find are some flip flops and some old Converses'.
"OH MY GOD CAS WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO DO?!" she screams
"Relax relax it isn't the end of the world" I say
"Well it feels like it ugh what are we going to do?"
"I don't.... WAAAAIIIT!"
"WHAT!?"
"Just come with me" I grab Aly's hand and we walk out of my bedroom down the hall into my mothers room.
"Why are we in here..." She asks some what quitely from before moments ago she freaking out like we were at some football game.
"To get shoes my mom has hundreds" I explain to Aly while I'm opening my moms closet doors.
Our jaws drop of what we're seeing.
"Make that thousands..."
"WOAH" we both say in unison as we gaze through the shelves of shoes
"OH MY GOD CASSSSS! WHY DIDN'T YOU COME IN HERE FIRST MOST OF THESE SHOES LOOK LIKE NO ONE HAS TOUCHED THEM" She says as she points to the boxes of shoes left laying on the floor.
"I don't know really but I never knew she had this much shit in here wow" I say. I seriously had no idea how much clothing she had, I knew she worked with many fashion corporations and designers but never would I have thought my own mother would have brands from Prada to Gucci in our house oh my god.
"This is Heaven" Aly says as she plops down on a small loveseat styled chair in the corner
"Aly these... these are perfect" I point to a rack of stilettos as she immediately stands up and runs over to me.
"Are these last summers Armani exclusives? THEY ARE" she gasps
"Well what do you think...should we take these and go pick out a dress at your place and go" I ask.
"I think we ditch the idea of going to my place and pick out one of these dresses" she takes my arm around another corner of my moms closet.
"I don't know..."
"Cas, c'mon. It's not like she is even going to notice I mean as long as nothing happens to them... and if something does happen I can always take them to a cleaner and fix them by tomorrow."
I think it over for a minute and It all makes since I guess. I mean she's right my mom probably has never warn most of these beautiful outfits in here. She wouldn't mind if I borrow a few. I mean It is just one night.
"C'mon Cassie you're wasting your time thinking" Aly says as she shakes my shoulders.
"I guess but only for tonight and if anything happens it's all on you okay"
"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU OH MY GOD THIS IS WHY WE'RE FRIENDS I LOVE YOU" She says hugging me while jumping around like a little kid.
*Okay so i'm going to stop here because I have to go.
