"I'll be here to pick you up after school," Jackson says as I step out of the car.
"Okay, Jackson." I say, rolling my eyes a bit.
I walk up the steps to the front door and look down at my phone, pressing play on another video.
It starts with a slideshow of a bunch of selfies the same guy and I took together.
Us laying on some grass, making a heart shape with both of our hands, smiling.
Us trying to look serious but failing miserably.
Us just hugging.
Kissing.
Laughing.
Smiling.
A video plays.
It's another video slideshow.
I seem to be laughing and running through a parking lot.
It skips and I'm with a group of people, someone else holding the camera.
More pictures flash by and I walk straight into someone.
"Ow-!" I say, backing up quickly.
"I'm so sorry are you-- Cass?" He asks.
My head snaps up towards him and I back up a bit. "Who.. Are you?" I ask, my eyes widening.
"Did you lose your- ohh right.. Your brother told me about this.." He mutters and a gentle smile appears on his face. "I'm Jax."
"Cass." I say, smiling a bit.
How did he know who I was?
I shrug it off and smile.
"Can I see your schedule?" He asks.
"Uh.. I need to get it printed first, but yeah." I say, smiling.
In a way.. This feels like deja Vu. "I'll show you to the office," Jax says, smiling and starts walking.
I quickly walk after him, eventually catching up.
"Damn you're fast.. And tall. What do you play? Basketball?" I ask, looking up at him.
"Football." He says, looking at me and smiling.
"Cool," I say, smiling.
"Yeah, but if you want I could teach you a bit sometime?" He offers and stops in front of a door.
"Sure," I say, smiling.
He pushes the door open and a few seconds later, someone else shows up.
"Cass, why don't you go get your schedule? I'll come in soon." Jax says, smiling.
"Sure," I say, smiling and walking in.
"Schedule for Cassandra Rose?" I ask.
"One minute," the lady says, types a few things in her computer then smiles and hands me a paper. "Here you go, have a good day." She says, smiling.
"Thanks. You too," I say, smiling and see three guys talking to Jax.
"Hey, something wrong?" I ask, walking out.
"Huh? Oh, no. Cass, this is Aaron, Ryley and Ryan." Jax says, smiling.
"Cass," I introduce myself to them, smiling.
They each glance at each other and I act like I don't notice it.
"Oh right, uh, Jax. You wanted to see my schedule, right?" I ask, handing it to him.
He takes it and looks it over quickly then smiles and hands it back to me.
"We have most of our classes together," he says and I smile a bit.
"Cool," I say, smiling slightly.
"Here, follow me. We all have the same classes. We'll take you to them." He says, smiling and turns then starts waking.

The school day flashes by. It seems like everything was sped up. It all went by so fast.
I walk out the doors and keep looking over my shoulder. Something about this place seems oddly familiar.
I spot Jackson's car and quickly jog up to it. "Hey, Jackson." I say, getting in and smiling.
"Hey," he says, smiling as well and drives off, towards the apartments.
I unlock my phone and swipe through photos, pausing on one.
I'm laying on the same guys chest, making a duck face while he's sleeping.
I smile a bit and look up, out my window.
I need to remember who he was.
I run my fingers over the scar the stitches left when they were removed. I can feel the screws. And the metal plate.
I sigh softly and slowly drop my hand then look back down at my phone. I scroll through more photos. My eyes flicking over the photos until one catches my eye.
I'm with a group of people. The same guy giving me a piggy back ride.
One person with curly dark hair and glasses standing beside a lady with blue and dark brown hair.
Another person, who's a ginger as well.
A boy with light brown hair and glasses beside him.
A shorter guy with slightly curly, dark hair beside him.
A tall, thin guy with dark curly hair beside him. Another guy with thinned light hair beside him.
I look at myself with the ginger again.
Were... Were we a couple?
I smile, seeing how happy I was in that picture. Smiling. Laughing. Long hair blowing in the wind.
I gently scruff up my now short hair and sigh softly.
"Jackson?"
"Hm?"
"Can you uh.. Tell me who these people are?" I ask, showing him the picture as he pulls up to a red light.
He looks at the picture and his slightly hardened gaze softens.
"Uh.. Three of them are our neighbors. Living in the apartment next to ours. You saw one of them this morning. They all work late but.. I think one of them is taking a break off of work. I suggest you talk to him." Jackson says and looks back at the road as he starts driving again.
"Okay. Uh.. Should I do it when we get back to the apartment building?" I ask softly.
"If you want. Do it when you're comfortable." He says, glancing at me as we pull into the parking lot.
I nod and stare up at it as he parks and I get out.
Here goes.
