"Max- are you really mad about that little prank I pulled?" I ask, staring up at him, furrowing my eyebrows slightly.
He stares down at me for a few seconds. "I'm not mad. It just scared me.. When you pulled that prank it made me think that you either died or passed out."
"But you saw me breathing-"
"I did. But that doesn't mean it worried me. Being your fiancé, Cass, means it makes me want to protect you even more from the dangers of the world. We aren't just best friends anymore, Cass. We're much more than that." He says and gently rubs my cheek with his thumb.
I lean my head into his hand and smile a bit. "I understand that but-"
"Cass." He says and raises his eyebrows slightly.
I close my mouth and stare up at him.
"Just don't do that again.. Please. It worried me. A lot."
I nod and smile faintly. "I understand.. Sorry." I whisper and smile a bit.
He smiles. "It's alright." He says then takes my hand and slips the ring back on my finger.
I smile and kiss him for a brief couple of seconds.
"Come on. We should go-"
Max gently takes the sides of my face and cuts me off by kissing me.
I smile and slowly wrap my arms around his neck.
He smiles a bit as well then pulls away.
"Satisfied?" I whisper.
"Yeah. Now we can go," he says, smiling then leads me down the little dirt trail.
I smile and run a hand through my hair then follow him down the trail until we reach the bottom where everyone's already waiting.
"Hey, what took so long?" Ross asks.
I look over at Max then look at Ross again. "Nothing really.. Just stretched the conversation a bit more than intended." I say and shrug then smile a bit.
Ross gives us a weird look at the group starts walking again.
I laugh a bit and walk into the air conditioned hotel, almost immediately shivering as the cold air hits my damp skin.
Max pulls me over to him and holds me in place tightly then kisses the top of my head gently.
I smile a bit and look up at him then give him a quick peck on the lips.
I look around. "Where did everyone g-"
"Are you Max and Cass?" I hear a guy ask.
I quickly look in the direction of the boys voice then look up at Max.
"We are," Max says, smiling and slightly tightening his arm around me.
"Cool- hey, Andrea (pronounced like ahn drey ah) come here!"
A gorgeous girl with curly long blonde hair, with a crown braid and a floral crop top along with pale blue shorts and white converse walks into view.
"Oh my god- you guys are-"
"Yes, Andrea they are Max and Cass." He laughs. "I'm Joseph, (totally did not use my boyfriends name) nice to meet you guys," he says, smiling.
I smile a bit as well, extremely jealous about his sister.
"Hey, is it alright if I get a picture?" She asks as she holds up her phone.
"Yeah," Max says, smiling.
"Great," she says, smiling and pushes herself in between Max and I then holds out her phone and smiles then snaps the picture quickly.
She turns back towards us and smiles, a glimmer of.. Something shining in her eyes as she looks at Max.
"It was nice to meet you guys, but I have to go now. I'm sorry," she says and while she turns, she gives me a dirty look.
"Oh! By the way," she turns back to us for a couple of seconds. "I totally ship Cax," (ship name given by someone in the last book :D)
She says and turns again, quickly mouthing he's mine then happily skips off.
I furrow my eyebrows a bit then look at Max and smile a bit.

The few days we all spent in Hawaii seemed to fly by.
My head rests on Max' shoulder as we sit in the ubers car, on our way to the airport at 2 o'clock in the fucking morning.
I feel Max gently rubbing my shoulder as we're driven down the highway.
I force my eyes open as they start to close, so Max doesn't have to carry me through the airport and through security and stuff like that.
I flinch as the car comes to an abrupt stop and I quickly look up and realize we're at the airport already.
I sit up and follow Max out of the car.
He pulls open the trunk and grabs Ross', his and my bag, handing my bag to me, Ross' bag to Ross and straps his bag to his back.
I follow Max as he walks into the airport and scream, then sprint off when Red tickles my sides.
Laughter is heard behind me and I stop running then turn around and narrow my eyes. "Paybacks gonna be a bitch," I say and start walking again.
"Hey, you started the prank war by pretending you passed out in the water." Red says and I smile a bit.
I then remember Andrea. When I last saw her, she mouthed he's mine.
I look around, for some reason feeling like she.. Or someone is following us or watching us.
I look back and forth, suddenly feeling uncomfortable.
I stop walking completely when I see a girl with blonde curly hair, short and wearing white converse but I can't see what she's wearing.
I know that's her though.
What.. Is she stalking us now?
I stare in the direction she went in then narrow my eyes a bit but brush it off.
I glance at Max and smile as we walk through the airport.
Why should I care about some other girl when I know Max is in love with me?
