A/N: Here ya go :3

Cass (in dream)

I'm jogging through the streets, slightly winded. I've been jogging for hours. Or less. It feels like I'm not moving. Like I'm a little puppet. Someone in a hooded figure walks up in front of me.
I furrow eyebrows a bit and stop running. I start backing up slowly.
"Who.." I start but he pulls out a gun and points it at me, in between my eyes. From about ten feet away.
The gun clicks. It's ready to be fired.
I back up a bit. I can't see his face. At all. It's covered with his hood. But I can see the smirk on his face.
"It's all over now, princess." He says, his finger hovering over the trigger.
I gasp. "Derek.." I whisper. I remember him. I remember what he did. I remember who he was.
"Hey Cass." He says, smirking.
"Derek.. You.. You don't have to do this," I whisper.
"Oh?" He closes his mouth and gives me a half ass smirk. "Why shouldn't I? After all the stuff you did to me?" He walks forward. Puts the gun at his side. Takes my chin in one of his hands.
I see his green eyes, glowing with excitement.
"Me doing stuff to you? Derek, you were abusive!" I scream, backing up.
He laughs and looks down at the piece of metal in his hand.
"Oh? And that's why you tore up your moms and my relationship right?"
"I- Derek.. She divorced you because you were abusive!" I scream.
"Tsk tsk tsk, hasn't mommy taught you not to lie?" He asks, raising the gun again. A loud bang goes off. I scream. Fall. Warm liquid falls down my cheek.
I reach up and touch it. Bring it out in front of me.
"You can call me dad again."
I fall back. Into nothing. Blood on my fingers. Blood staining my face.
I hit the back of my head on the cement sidewalk.
"Cass!"

I bolt into an upright position and quickly look around. Until my eyes fix on Max'. I start crying. Panic stricken.
I start crying. Derek.. Dad.. No! He can't come back. He can't find out where we are.
I feel the bed get weighed down and I'm pulled over to Max, my head gets rested on his chest. Something about the breathing and gentle thudding of his heart calms me down.
I start calming down, but silent sobs still convulse my body.
Max gently rubs my back and rests his head on mine.
"Max?" I whisper.
"Hm?" He hums softly.
"Can you.. Stay in here.. With me?" I whisper again, a bit hesitantly.
He pauses a bit but nods a bit. "Yeah.. I can." He whispers and I quickly scoot up to the pillows and rest my head on one of them. Seconds later, Max lays beside me, looking into my wide, panic stricken eyes.
"Come here," he says softly, opening his arms. I immediately scoot towards him, crawling between his arms and bury my face in his chest, the smell of his shirt calming me down even more.
I know he's watching as I fall asleep. A smile appears on my face as I fall asleep. "Goodnight, Cass." He whispers and falls asleep at the same time I do.

I wake up the next morning, and find out that I can't move.
I jerk my head back and smack my head on the headboard.
"Ow.." I groan and rub my head a bit.
"Cass? You okay?" Max asks softly.
I flinch and smile a bit then nod, my face slightly turning red. "Yeah I.. I'm fine," I say, smiling a bit.
He furrows his eyebrows a bit but smiles. "How about I steal you from school today?" He asks.
"Wouldn't that be.. Kind of illegal?" I whisper.
"Hey, Max, get up. Adam wants us in early to film a challenge video."
"Okay, be right out. So what do you say?" He asks.
"I uh.. Sure," I say, smiling a bit.
"Cool. We leave in ten." Max says and gets up then grabs clothes and walks into the bathroom.
I look down at the necklace that's still sitting on my chest and smile a bit.
I'll try my best, Max. I promise.
