Shelby

Shelby is blacked out in a white room with tiny rectangular windows that are high up in the 10 ft room so Shelby couldn't see out the window and no one could look in. The room had one door which was also painted white and room was shaped like a cylinder. She lay on the floor as though she was thrown like a rag doll . As she started to wake up from her concussion she looked around her and tried to let out a scream but her voice was gone. She couldn't make a single sound. When she noticed the door she ran towards it. She opened the door but there was just a blank wall behind it. She stepped back as she wondered how she got into this room, if there's no way out how is there a way for her to be put in their.

She started to remember the invisible thing that took her, and how it made her invisible too. She had assumed you had to be invisible to come in and out of the cylinder room as it would let you walk through walls. She then wondered what if the invisible thing is in the room with her.

She tried to speak again, but again no sound came out of her. She looked around her to look for something that is invisible and then felt like an idiot when she realized what she was doing. Shelby simply decided to just sit down and lean back on the wall. She looked around the room once again, this time to absorb the size of the room. The height of the walls were intimidating when Shelby was positioned like an embryo. She took in the bright white hue of the room, the paint work was perfect and looked new. There wasn't any sign of dirt or dust anywhere. The windows circling the to top of the prison length walls let in sunshine that made it look like the room had a halo. Shelby started to sob when she felt the floor and wall vibrating. She crawled towards the center of the rooms so she could be away from the walls but of course she couldn't escape the ground below her feet. The wall near the fake door started to crumble and Shelby watched as water started to seep into the room.

Shelby tried to get as far away from the crumbling wall only to step on a piece of ground that also crumbled under her feet. The entire ground and walls were shattering and suddenly Shelby fell through the white ground and landed into a soft bed. She then opened here eyes and realized it was all just a dream. And then realized she was in a hospital ward.

Shelby looked around the room and suddenly a nurse opened curtain to check up on Shelby. She had a checklist with some notes written down. She took one look at Shelby and said "Oh you're awake. That's brilliant. We couldn't find and ID on you so we didn't know who to contact on your behalf."

"What, why am I here? How long have I been asleep for?" Shelby whispered weakly.

"Someone found you behind the hospital dumpsters and you seemed to be unconscious and then you were brought in. You had a concussion for at least 24 hours. What is your name? Do you have a number we can call, like your parents number so we can tell them you are here? They must be looking for you."

"Uh yeah my name is Shelby Brooks and my mum's number is 07863 868 875." Shelby spoke while the nurse wrote it down. "Why was I behind the dumpsters... And outside a hospital?"

"Thank you, the hospital will contact her as soon as possible. And the police are looking into it. The fact you were behind a hospital doesn't seem like a coincidence I'm sure."

Shelby didn't say anything else and the nurse offered Shelby the water that was on the table next to the bed. Shelby took a sip and the nurse went left. Shelby closed her eyes as she pondered all the strange things that were happening to her. She remembered the invisible thing that took her but doesn't remember anything about being thrown next to a bunch of bins.

5 minutes later the nurse comes back in with a detective. She introduces him, "This is detective Dwight. He Is looking into the incident and wants to ask you a few question." The nurse leaves once again.
