Shelby
The detective came back and seemed to know something. He had referred to the other Shelby in my house as an "it" and the corrected himself. It was then that Shelby decided to trust the detective to know about the things that have happened to her including the invisible person. She grabbed the pen and notepad and this time she was actually going to write something. But where would start?. She had so much to say. How did she even know that the AI lookalikes are related to invisible kidnapper. Why did my invisible kidnapper leave her behind a hospital where she could be found. It's like it wanted her to recover from the harm it caused her. That doesn't by even make sense.
Her head was spinning with thoughts and about the events and what she should mention in her statement and what she should leave out. The nurse came in and asked her if she needed anything and Shelby asked for painkillers, but they said it was too early for her next dose but the nurse did give her some water and then left. Shelby couldn't think properly and her head was pounding and Shelby closed her eyes once again and she saw the same room from her dream again. The white cylinder room, except this time the fake door she opened that led to nothing now led to fresh air as well as a means of escape. The white wall behind it had vanished and Shelby was able to control her dream. She walked towards the door and the water that was leaking in before turned out to be ocean.
The white cylinder was in the middle of the sea and Shelby was trapped. She then realized that she was only dreaming, and in dreams anything can happen. She decided she wanted to fly out of the cylinder and so she did. She soared upwards so she could stand on top of the round white prison she was in and had an amazing view of the ocean around her. In the dream it was daytime and the sun was shining and so brightly and dream Shelby closed her eyes and imagined being on land. As beautiful as the view was, she wanted to be somewhere that doesn't have a high chance of killing her in some way, She can't stand on the cylinder forever and she also won't be able to soar around forever and who knows where the nearest solid land is for her to fly to. Dream Shelby opened her eyes and caused Shelby herself to open her eyes and wake up. Shelby was amazed at what had happened, she was impressed by the fact she could lucid dream so easily. It was her first time doing this.
She once attempted to Lucid dream a few years ago after reading articles about it and when she dreamed that night and became aware that it was a dream she got a bit excited and ended up waking up. Now, after so long she was able to do it and she was so good at it. Maybe she could use it to find answers about everything. Maybe when she goes to sleep tonight she will dream of opening her eyes and being somewhere solid like her dream character wanted.
Shelby picked up the pen and paper and decided to write about everything that had happened and tried not to miss out a single detail. She figured that by writing the events down on paper she can have them imprinted in her mind ready for her dreams. And of course she can give it to the detective to get to the bottom of things.

I got to Lori's apartment and introduced myself as Detective Dwight. I had asked to speak to her daughter, Shelby, and find out who this impostor really is. I parked up my little black ford in front of their apartment and I got out the car and headed towards the building, while pressing the button to remotely lock the door. I can't believe the people of 2015 have to do this, in the year 4000 your car locks itself when it knows the owner, not the keys, the owner is 3 meters away from the car.
I got to the apartment 2B and rang the door bell and waited until I rang it a second time, and then a third. I knocked on the door and as well but still there was no answer. First Lori wasn't picking up the phone and now no one was answering the door. I turned back around and decided to go back to my apartment and see what I can find. I got to the spot where I had parked my car and it was gone. In fact all the cars were gone. I looked up and noticed the houses and flats had disappeared as everything faded into white nothing. There was a circular wall being built around me and the floor was white too. The sky also disappeared and turned into a white ceiling. Their were windows at the very top to let sunlight in and there was door in front of me. I assumed it was a decoy but attempted to open it anyway. I then saw that this giant cylinder was in the middle of the ocean and I looked up and noticed a ladder on the outside wall of this peculiar room. I climbed up to the top and stood on the roof when I saw what I think was Shelby, it looked like human Shelby. She was lay on the roof with her eyes closed. I walked towards her to wake her up but as i was about to put my hand on her shoulder to tap her my hand fell through. Must be a hologram, I decided. I decided to appreciate the view of the ocean surrounding me as I wondered what the hell was was going because that is all I could do.
I looked back at the Hologram and noticed it started to levitate gently, then floated back down again. This had repeated a few times and all I could do was stare at the thing.
The hologram looked so real, even I fell for it. It didn't look in any way fake like AI roaming around 2015. The hologram Shelby stopped in mid air and stay still as it floated a meter away from the surface. All of a sudden I felt a gust of cold wind at my feet which quickly escalated up my body and something had caused me to become fatigued, I couldn't explain why though, I just did. My body felt heavy so I perched onto the ground and lay next to the floating hologram of Shelby and tried to fight off the sleepiness running through my body, trying to force my eyelids to stay open, but the lethargy got the best of me and my eyes shut sealed shut as I reluctantly drifted away into a deep slumber.

SATURDAY 6th NOVEMBER 4050

"AI Belle, are you there?" I speak into my mic.
"Yes, and I have some... thing to tell you." She responded. "Shelby has been experiencing lucid dreams and some how.... you are in them, well younger you. Younger you is kind of trapped right now. Inside a dream, but he, you, it, whatever, the other Aiden, doesn't know he is in Shelby's dream. Also AI todd is missing and AI shelby still hasn't spoken, she might be damaged. Do you know who or what is in Shelby's house, pretending to be her? The real Shelby is in hospital, because of some invisible thing that took her. Oh and Shelby's mother is missing too, I think?"
"AI Todd is isn't missing, he is hidden somewhere to track whatever it was that took Shelby, as for AI Shelby, I don't know what happened there. And the imposter pretending to be Shelby might be the invisible thing, if does make sense but it's just a guess. Perhaps we have messed up the timeline and I made things worse once more. As for Shelby's mother, I am already aware of it and I presume the unseen being is responsible for that too, so AI Todd is on the case." This AI was the most intelligent, and her human emotion was the realest too, out of all of my crew.
"What if, the thing is trying to stop Shelby from seeing her dad, it is safe to assume it was the one who rang her the day she was taken, claiming to be Ricky. If Shelby never meets her father, then she would never have been introduced to Professor Jensen, so she wouldn't have him to help create time travel, and if time travel isn't invented in the year 2050 like it is supposed to then we might not ever come back, me and the other AI, to the year we belong in. We aren't even meant to be here, how will we be sustain if our level of Artificial intelligence hasn't been invented yet?" She sounded genuinely worried.
"I will sort everything out, I swear to you, I-" as I whispered to the AI Belle, I suddenly heard static cutting me off in mud sentence. "Hello, are you there?" She was gone and all I could hear were the sounds if static.
I turned on my cameras which I managed to fix and tried to view what all my AI could see but they screen were all blank. I then remembered what AI Belle had said about Shelby's lucid dreams and made a note of it so I could look into it at a later time.
Right now my AI are playing hide and seek with an invisible force.
