Its been two months now since I was fired from my job. Two freaking long months. I've sent out two dozen copies of entry level application letter plus résumés and I haven't gotten not one call. Am I bad lucky or what? Dad's three months supply of medication are slowly running out. I'm tired of sitting around, waiting on a bleeping phone call saying I'm accepted and blah blah. I need a job. And I want it fast.
Universe, please show me a sign!...

I sighed as I sat in the corner booth of The Cafe Café watching the morning report and sipping my hot chocolate. Dad's out of town at his sister's for the week. Aunt Sharon is my one and only aunt. My mother had brothers and sisters but they are so self centered, they didn't care about her. They are so mean and bossy, they didn't even came to her funeral when she died. I am all alone this week, the only thing I have to worry about is getting a job.
Which really sucks right now.

I sipped my chocolate once more as the business news came on. This blonde haired woman pops up reading the news.
"... And in today's business news Calan McKnight the owner and founder of McKnight's Global have just released his profit figures of last year. The billionaire announced that his company have earned over five billion dollar profit last year. The tycoon's accountant stated that coming this financial year, McKnight's Global could probably make triple times the amount they made last year. He also stated that by the end of the month, McKnight will own and control all the assets of the Red Steele's Corporations, a multimillion dollar Steele company which have recently went in bankruptcy. How fortunate of him... Now let's take a quick preview of today's stock market. Today's stock..."

I blocked the rest of the news out as I glanced at a guy who sat in front of me with a newspaper. That McKnight guy name was engraved on the front page.
This guy seems really popular in this city. I wish I was lucky like him.
Be careful what you wish for.
Yeah. I should be careful. I don't know where his wealth or luck comes from. Maybe he sold his soul or something.

I glanced outside and saw a black sleek sports car pulled up. I heard the café door belled open. Two guys walked in. The one in the front was dressed in a dark blue Armani suit, black shoes and a pair of black test glasses. He looks like a million bucks.
Literally!
The guy behind him was dressed in a black tuxedo along, with black shine shoes and dark shades. He's tall and muscular as the guy in front and very handsome too. I instantly realize that there was a wire device behind his ear. You know, the ones the Secret Service wear in White house down. He's the guy's PBG.

He walked up to the counter. The cashier noticed him instantly and paused in shock. She starts checking the guy out and blinked seductively playing with her hair as she starts to flirt.

I noticed most of the people inside here were placed on pause, checking out Tony Stark. They all look as if they've seen alive Michael Jackson at their doorstep dancing thriller.
Yeah. That look.
Are these people going crazy or something?
I glanced at the counter as the guy ordered. I exasperatedly roll my eyes as the girl flirt harder to get his attention.
Quit trying already lady!... I wanna shout.
Is it so hard to get a guy's attention? Well if that's the case, I don't want any attention...
Tony Stark looked blankly at her slightly annoyed.
I rolled my eyes once more and exited the café leaving all the drooling idiots inside.

It was lightly drizzling out here. I wrap my scarf around my neck as a chill hits me. I headed down the road. To home direction.
Cars slowly drove by because there was poodles on the  road and sidewalks avoiding any splashes on the side walkers.

I stopped at the intersection as the cars drive by, waiting for the safest time to cross. I noticed a black car, the same one at the cafe heading my way, speedily.

SPLASH!!! I feel a bucket of water being splashed at me. I gasped frightened out of my Witts. I blinked in shock. I angrily glare down the road as the black sleek sports car headed down the road without stopping. I angrily cursed under my breath. I was now soaked from head to toe. Even my hair.
Seconds later, I was splashed. Again. By a truck. It drove off too. Without even stopping. I guess the universe have send me a sign after all.

Great. Just great! Can my day get any better?!!!

My grammar sucks. I know! But I promise I'm gonna work on it.
Xoxo😚😚😆
