Still in Flashback form~~~~~~“Aly, are you ready?” Justin asked, poking his head through my door. I nodded smiling at him. “Uh ya. Just about, but uh… can you help me with something?” I asked, a hint of a smile reaching the corner of my lips. Justin laughed and stepped in, shutting the door quietly behind him. “Anything.” He smiled. I turned around, moving my hair over one shoulder. “Zip me up?” I asked. He smirked and walked over to me. He placed his hand on my lower back, his lips hovering near my neck. I laughed. “Justin?” I asked. He bit his lip then kissed my neck gently, sliding the zipper up. As soon as I was zipped, he turned me around and kissed me, running his hands along my hips, resting there. I wrapped my arms around his neck and smiled. “We gotta go. Jen’s gonna get suspicious.” I laughed. He pulled away and pouted, taking my hand. “How about we run away? Leave here, change our names, stay out of the public eye. Just you and me?” He asked, smiling. I rolled my eyes and led him toward the door. “That’s not a bad idea… but, I have always been a girl living on the dangerous side. And I think this is more exciting than just running away.” I winked. He laughed and followed me out, kissing me passionately before heading downstairs. I finished strapping on my heels and made my way down. I flinched at the sight of Justin’s arm wrapped around Jen’s waist, but quickly snapped out of it. I followed them out the door and to the car. “Can you believe that the wedding is only a few days away!?” Jen asked excitedly. Justin chuckled beside her, interlocking his fingers with hers. I turned my gaze out the window and stared at the blurred trees. “Aly? Aly?” Jen asked, her voice bringing me out of my daze. “Yeah?” I asked, turning toward her quickly. She glanced at me oddly and tilted her head. “You okay? You have been oddly quiet.” She laughed, trying to lighten my depressing mood. I flashed a fake smile and nodded, “Never been better!” I cheered, sort of blankly. “Okay…” She trailed off, still unsure. “So you never answered my question, would you rather match the Bridesmaid’s or wear a different dress? I got both for you just in case.” She laughed. I smiled and shrugged my shoulders. “It doesn’t matter.” I replied. She gave me a look, and I knew we would be having a little chat later. I loved how she always knew something was wrong with me, but I hated how she chose now to get all parental on me. She was the only person, aside from my mom, who could tell when I’m lying. But right now, that was sort of… no it was REALLY a bad thing. “So what are the weddings colors going to be?” I asked, changing the subject. She shrugged and turned to Justin. “Well we kind of decided that it was going to either be purple or blue. I’m not sure on which he picked, but I’m assuming it was purple.” She laughed. I smiled and glanced at Justin, well the back of his head anyway. “Oh well that’s Justin. Full of surprises.” I smirked to myself. She laughed and turned to the radio, turning it on slightly as we continued driving. I kept asking her all sorts of questions, the song, and the order of the wedding party, who I’d be walking down the aisle with. Everything to keep her mind off of talking to me later. As soon as we reached the rehearsal sight, I got out of the car and practically ran straight inside, Jen watching me oddly. “Rehearsal for the Bieber Wedding.” I said, rushing the receptionist. She pointed to a side room, not even bothering to glance up at me. “Thank you!” I called out, rushing into the room. I looked around for something to do before Jen started asking me about why I was “acting weirdly”. Jen appeared beside me within moments. “Why are you in such a rush?” She laughed, setting a few party favors out. I grabbed a few bags and set them by each place setting. “No rush really. Just can’t wait to see everything.” I said. I had no idea why I was this nervous. Maybe she wouldn’t ask about Justin. Maybe she would just forget that I had been acting weird. At least I hope she would. “Hey, can you go help Justin with the rest of the party bags?” Jen asked, taking a few bags from me. I nodded, dusting my hands on the skirt of my dress and headed out slowly. Like I have probably mentioned too many times before, I really hated what I was doing with my life. I felt like such a whore. I probably am one. I know, you’re thinking “You’re sleeping with Justin Bieber, no strings attached. He can’t dump you, you can’t dump him. All you ever have to worry about is when and where you’ll be fucking him next.” It’s not as great as anyone would think it is. I mean ya, he was hot, and ya he was good in bed, but it kind of hurt knowing there would never be a future with “us”. He would marry Jen, and I would go back to LA. That’s the plan anyway. I didn’t understand this whole situation really. I headed back out to the car and walked beside Justin, slipping one of the boxes from his arm. “Hey gorgeous.” He winked. I attempted a smile and walked ahead of him. “Aly?” he asked, quickening his pace. I took a deep breath and slowed down. “Yeah?” I asked, switching the box to my other arm. “Are you okay?” He asked, pausing next to me. I nodded, “Perfectly fine.” I replied blandly. He took the box from me and shook his head. “No you’re not.” He said walking ahead of me. “Justin! Hey!” I said, walking after him. He started jogging, well at least attempting to jog, to the dining area. I laughed and stole my box back. “Nice try Bieber.” I smirked, he winked at me and shrugged. “A guy can try right?” He chuckled. We walked into the room and Jen smiled at us. “Awe, look at you two! I’m so glad you guys are getting along. I was worried that you wouldn’t.” She laughed, taking the boxes from us. Justin laughed, “Oh we’re getting along a LOT better than you thought we would.” Justin laughed. I widened my eyes and looked toward Jen, panicking. “Well that’s good.” Jen said, wavering in and out of reality. She was too concentrated on counting and matching each gift bag. I glared at Justin and punched him gently in the arm, considering I don’t really punch that hard. “What the hell is wrong with you!?” I hissed, pulling him out of the room. He leaned against the wall and looked around the hallway. “What are you doing!?” I said, still furious at him. After making sure that the coast was clear, he took me by the waist and kissed me. I was shocked, and still partially mad at him. At first, I didn’t want to kiss back. I placed my hands on his chest and weakly pushed away. “Justin…” I mumbled, his lips moving in synch with mine. He smiled and pressed his lips harder against mine. “Stop we’re going to get caught.” I said, talking against his kisses. He didn’t stop. His hands running through my hair. I pulled away and smiled. “You’re not getting out of this that fast Bieber. What the hell were you thinking back there?” I laughed. Justin looked down and shrugged. “I don’t know…” He pouted. I laughed and playfully shoved him, walking back into the room to finish setting up. An hour later, people started to arrive. “Alyson! Aly, come here!” Jen called. I walked over to the gift table and smiled, “Ya?” I asked. She was up to something. I can just tell. She grinned widely and gestured to a man standing before her. “Al’s this is Ryan. Ryan this is Alyson.” She introduced. I smiled and shook his hand. “It’s nice to meet you Ryan.” I laughed. Ryan smiled and nodded his head. “So, Aly, why don’t you tell Ryan about your modeling gig at Teen Vogue? I’m sure he’s interested.” Jen smiled. I shot her a glare and she shrugged. “Good luck kid.” She winked. Ryan let out a soft chuckle and leaned on the table, his arms resting at his sides. “So you’re a model?” He asked, a slight smile forming on his lips. I laughed and sat beside him, my arms crossed across my chest. I shrugged. “Not really. When I was younger I was. It wasn’t really for me. It was more for my mom. I started modeling when I was five. My older sister was also a model. She was ten at the time. My mom was our manager in a way, and she loved every aspect of her job. Terry, our official manager loved when she got to work with my mom. Then my dad got sick and our whole family went into depression mode. When my dad died, it was like my modeling career was the only thing she had left. My sister quit when she was fourteen, and I just couldn’t handle disappointing my mom.” I started. He looked at me, it wasn’t the sort of pity look, but it looked like he was actually listening. “So when’d you quit?” He asked. I let out a small laugh. “When I was sixteen. I wanted to quit ever since I was eleven, but to my mom… she needed those five years. When I quit, she decided to get into the modeling career. Not as a model, but as a manager. And Terry was just the person to help her with that.” I finished. “Did you always hate it?” He asked, kind of laughing. I shrugged. “I don’t know… I kind of enjoyed it in the beginning, then after a few years it kind of got old.” He nodded. “Sorry, I talk a lot.” I laughed, moving a strand of hair out of my face. “It’s fine. I like a girl I can have a conversation with.” He flirted. I smiled and looked over at him. “So what do you do?” I asked. He shrugged. “You know the RBCS skateboarding brand?” He asked. I slightly nodded, “No and yes. I’ve heard a lot about it, but I’ve never really knew anything about it.” I said. He gestured to himself and my eyes widened. “You’re RBCS?” I asked, smiling. He nodded, “Well no and yes. I’m the RB part. Ryan Butler.” He smiled. I smiled wider. “Cute. What does the CS stand for?” I asked. He searched around the room and pointed to a tall guy, his arm around what I assumed his wife’s waist. “Him over there. The guy hugging the blonde. His name is Chaz. Chaz Somers.” He explained. I laughed, “I never knew I was talking to a professional skateboarding expert.” I laughed, standing myself straight. He shrugged. “Well I never knew I was talking to a professional model.” He winked. “You know, I could give you lesson’s sometime.” He offered. I laughed, “Me? Skateboard? Yeah… I’m going to get a huge medical bill.” I laughed. He shrugged again, “Who knows, you could be the next pro.” He winked. I smiled, “And maybe I can train you.” I said, smirking at him. “Train me at what?” He asked, clueless. “Modeling. You know. Girls find it as a MAJOR turn on when their boyfriend is a professional male model. The perfect body, those sexy abs, and that hot ass… ass.” I laughed. He smiled, “Boyfriend?” He asked. I bit my bottom lip, smiling. “You know, for that one girl you’d just happen to ask out… someday.” I smiled. He came closer to me, placing an arm around my shoulder in the non-rapist way of course. xD. “Well, what if I happened to ask you out? Would you count?” He asked, looking me in the eyes. I smiled and nodded at him. “Well, technically, you’re not male model qualified yet, but since I am going to be coaching you through this, I can make an exception.” I winked. He let out a small laugh and pulled away to look at me. “You do realize I’m not going to go through with that right?” He smirked. I laughed and nodded, “I kinda figured. I don’t think you’re the kind of guy that would want to be walking around modeling tighty whiteys.” I laughed. He put his arm around my waist and walked me to my chair, taking a seat next to me. “Okay everyone. If we could have your attention please!” Jen announced. Everyone turned their heads to her. Justin appeared by her side within seconds, wrapping his arms around her waist, cradling her from behind. I turned away as Jen started speaking again. “We just wanted to thank you all for coming today, especially those who had to drive or even fly in for this. We are so happy that you could make it. Especially you, Aly. I don’t know what I would do without you.” She laughed. I turned back to them and smiled. I felt the happiness in me die out when I saw how happy they looked. I wanted to be her so badly. She had everything we had always wanted for each other. She had the perfect life. The hot husband, the gorgeous house, the perfect job. Everything she ever dreamed of having, she had. Justin glanced at me and smiled, lifting his chin off Jen’s shoulder. I don’t know what happened with me, but the moment Jen turned her attention elsewhere, I stood up, and walked out. Ryan followed me out. I leaned back on the hallway’s wall, tears streaming silently down my face. Ryan came out seconds later. “Alyson? Alyson are you okay? He asked, rushing over at me. I nodded my head, wiping away the tears as fast as I could. “I’m fine, I… I’m sorry. I know this probably makes me seem crazy, but-” He cut me off. “Alyson. It’s fine. Whatever it is, it’s going to be okay.” He said, taking me by my shoulders. He looked me in the eyes and smiled. “Come on, smile for me. I hate seeing pretty girls cry.” He chuckled, lifting up my chin. I smiled at him and gazed into his deep brown eyes. “Thanks…” I whispered, before I knew it, his lips were pressed against mine. “Aly? Aly where are-” {Justin’s POV} As soon as Jen stopped talking, I rushed out to find Aly. She ran out before the speech ended. “Aly? Aly where are-” I stopped short. She pulled away and looked at him, the look of happiness in her eye. I don’t know what just happened, but I sure as hell knew that I was NOT okay with Ryan all over her. “Alyson!?” I said, almost to the point of shouting. She snapped her head back and widened her eyes. “Justin?” Ryan asked. “What the hell Alyson?!” I questioned. Ryan looked at me weirdly and back to Aly. “What’s going on?” He asked. “Nothing, Ryan. It’s nothing.” She said, pecking him gently on the lips. “Can you give us a moment?” She asked him. He nodded and gently tapped her on the shoulder before heading back into the dining area. I pulled Alyson to the side and glared at her, demanding an explanation. “What the hell where you doing?!” I hissed, repeating almost the exact same words as she had earlier. “What did it look like?” She snapped back. “I don’t know, but it ran along the lines of you having your lips all over my BEST FRIEND.” I shouted back. “Well you know I could say the same thing. If you get to be happy and in a relationship, so can I. I’m not just some whore Justin. I can have a life.” She whispered. She turned away from me and started walking back. “Wait… Wait, wait Alyson. Please… just wait.” I said, pulling her back. “What Justin? You want me to wait and listen to you telling me how I can’t have a real relationship? Or how I can’t have a life?” She stated, tears forming at the edge of her eyes. I pulled her over and took her gently by the arms. “Aly, I’m sorry. Please listen to me. I don’t know what happened. I just. I don’t know. I snapped, I guess. Seeing you in someone else’s arms.” I explained. “How do you think I felt Justin? Seeing you marrying Jen? You’re getting married. I’m not. You think it’s easy for me? To see you kissing her, loving her, telling her that she’s all you’ve ever wanted. You think it’s easy for me knowing that this… this thing that we have… whatever it is… that it’s never going to be more than what it is now? That this will never have a future.” She said, the tears spilling over onto her cheeks. “Aly, what can I say?” I asked, wiping away her tears. She shook me away, leaning her back against the wall. “What is this Justin? What is this?” She repeated. I froze. I didn’t know what this was. I didn’t know what was happening with my life. Never once have I even thought of looking at another woman with Jennifer around, but Alyson… Alyson was different. She didn’t care that I had flaws. She didn’t care that I couldn’t take her out to dinner. All she wanted was for me to prove to her that she meant something to me. Something more than just someone to fuck. And I couldn’t even do that. I couldn’t even tell her I loved her. I mean I could, but what good would it be if I couldn’t mean it. I couldn’t. And I couldn’t leave Jen. Jen was there for me. For everything. She was the only person that would accept me at my worst. She helped me through my grandpa’s death, she helped me through the bad times, she was my best friend before we had even dated, and she was the one that I chose to marry. She was the first girl I had ever fallen in love with. Sure I loved a lot of girls, but I’ve never been in love with one. Not even Caitlin, or Jasmine. But now that I’ve found Alyson, I just… don’t know anymore. “Nothing?” She asked, the hope in her voice slowly fading away. “Okay then. That’s all I needed to hear.” She said before giving me one last look. She turned and walked back to the rehearsal area. “I love you.” I said, closing my eyes tightly. The click of her heals on the floor stopped almost immediately. “What?” She asked, shocked. I opened my eyes and walked up to her. “I love you Alyson. I love how you never judge me, I love how you take me, flaws and all, and I love how you make the most of every moment. Even if we only known each other for two weeks… I… love you.” I finished. She partially smiled as I pulled her into a tight hug. “You promise me that you mean it?” She asked. I nodded, not even thinking this whole thing through. “I promise.” I said, firmly. “You’re still going to marry her aren’t you?” She said certainty in her soft voice. I didn’t know if I was. I didn’t know if that was what I had really wanted. I didn’t know if marrying Jen was the right thing when I had feelings for her best friend. I didn’t want to think of anything. I just wanted to live in the moment. I just wanted to stay here, with her, forever. I couldn’t answer her. Even if I had an answer to give her, I couldn’t. I knew what the right thing to do was, I knew what I really wanted, but I couldn’t decide without making one mistake. “I understand.” Was the last thing she said before finally returning to the rehearsal dinner. I had no idea as to what she meant… but then again, I had no idea as to what I was getting in to.
