The sun shone through the tent and went into Kat's eyes, waking her up. She gets on her hands and knees, and stumbles out, trying not to hurt anyone. She stretches her arms while the winds blows, and hears her phone vibrate from inside her bag, which is placed right inside near the zipper.

Hi baby boo, i luv n miss u <3 call me asap. i want 2 talk 2 my honeybunSeeing his message made Kat's face light up with a smile. She notices that the boys are still asleep, so she walks over to the thickest tree on the left filled with moistly vines calls him. She then waits anxiously for him to pick up.
"Hey darling. How is it there so far," Nathan asks Kat. His voice is so calm and sweet.
"It is alright. We are going hiking and swimming today," she says enthusiastically.
He replies with, "that's nice." Then the call becomes silent for a little. "Katrina, I need to tell you something."
Her heart skips a beat. This is it, he is breaking up with me like I expected for being the worst girlfriend ever, Kat thinks. She feels her hands getting warm and sweaty.
He breaths heavily, which only makes Kat more nervous. "I love you. I love you so much. You are the most gorgeous girl I have ever met. You are so kind and understanding. I am so lucky to have you and be able to call you mine. You are all I ever wanted and I want to grow with you. Your love is what keeps me going ever day."
That is not what Kat was expecting, but hearing Nathan say all that made her want to melt. She loves his voice, it makes her feel safe, like nothing in the world can stop her. She wishes she could just be there with him at this moment, cuddling up next to him, feeling his soft hands around her waist. After thinking all of this, she decides to talk. "I love you too. You make me the happiest girl alive. I am sort of speechless right now. I wasn't ready for that." She lets out a little chuckle.
Nathan is quiet, but Kat can just sense he was smiling perfectly over the phone. Now matter how much she enjoys talking, she has to go. "Babe, I'll talk to you later. It is time for me to go hiking."
They say their good-byes and hang up. Kat is still leaning on the tree with her legs and arms crossed, waiting for them to wake up. She looks over, and could see that Jaxon isn't in the tent. Aaron and Hunter are still passed out on each other, like usual.
"Where the hell are you, Jaxon," she shouts confused
A voice right behind her says, "right here." She turns, to see Jaxon staring right at her. Those eyes look so innocent, but she knows they aren't.
"God damnit!" She slaps his right shoulder with her left arm. "You scared the crap out of me, once again!"
He laughs and walks over to where the tent is. Kat sees him shuffling through his bag, and pull something out, then makes his way into the tent while ducking. She knows exactly what he is doing. Yes, she can stop him and prevent what is about to happen. However, she doesn't want to. She leans back on her tree again to enjoy the outcome of all of this.
A loud noise fills the atmosphere, coming straight the tent; the air horn. Aaron screams and jumps up, only to hit his head. Hunter just runs, he gets up and bolts out of there. This is why she's friends with them.
Kat makes her way to Aaron and Jaxon. Aaron just sits up breathlessly saying, "I swear to God Jaxon... if you do that again... I will kill you."
Jaxon is on his knees, with his usual smirk. Kat says, "so, hiking?"
They nod and Aaron states something so obvious, yet missed. "Hunter is kind of still gone."
Kat knows a way to solve this, but Jaxon beats her to it. He walks outside and blows the air horn once again. A couple hundred feet behind the tent, there is a shriek, and then, "you fuck head!"
"Found him," Jaxon yells.
Hunter goes back to the camping area, exhausted from all the terror. The friends change into trekking clothes, and saunter to the biggest and busiest hills.
