Selena's POV
Six months. It had been six months since Danny and I had... Separated? Split?Whatever it was that we had done. We hadn't officially broken up. We hadn't actually spoken to each other. Not a word.
So where was I now? I was in hospital, with Sam. She's never looked so happy to be alive. I suppose being in a coma for three and a half months would change your perspective on things. But she was here, that's what mattered, and she was helping me. You know how some people can still hear and feel when their in a coma? The doctors said that's what happened to Sam. I wasn't complaining, and neither was she for that matter, it saved so much time. She knew me so well that I didn't have to explain anything to her.
Smiling, I wheeled Sam out of the hospital. As the pale sunlight hit her face for the first time in months, she grinned. "Freedom!" She cried, attempting a Scottish accent. "I've missed the great British... Rain." She corrected as the rain began to pour. Typical. Laughing, I grabbed Sam's wheelchair and began to push her down the steep hill leading to the car park.
"Woooohoooo!" We cried in unison as I took my feet off the ground. By the time we stopped by the car, both of us were soaked to the skin and laughing uncontrollably.
"Come on, let's get you in the car." I said, opening the passenger door and allowing Sam to stand. She quickly slid into the Audi and I folded the chair into the boot. Finally we could go home.
Danny's POV
Six. Months. Six fucking months and she hasn't even bothered to call. She didn't even have to call me! Mark, Glen, even my manager would do. But nothing.
24 weeks, 4 days. And silence. I'd tried to move on, Mark and Glen had even tried to persuade me into a blind date, but we hadn't even fixed anything. We hadn't even talked about what needed fixing.
So here I was, forty two songs later, sat next to Mark and Glen with my trusty notebook in a restaurant. Sitting across from me was my new manager, flipping through the many newspapers on the table before me. All featured two names. Selena Darte and Danny O'Donoghue.
"Ok, so I'm going to ask you straight." She began. "What the fuck happened?" I shrugged, tracing my fingers over the plain cover of the notebook. "Danny!" She snapped her fingers in front of my face.
"What?" I asked, still not looking up. I heard an exasperated sigh.
"What the fuck is going on? What happened between you and Selena?" I shrugged again and Mark took over.
"He won't talk. Not to you." He said simply. The woman turned to him.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" She demanded.
"He'll barely talk to us, never mind anyone else." Came the reply from Glen. I smirked at my band mates defiance.
"Look Danny, you haven't had a concert in months! The fans are going mad because you cancelled the #3 tour and you're not exactly cooperating!" The manager cried, holding up her hands in defeat. "If you don't get publicity- the good kind- The Script's fanbase will disappear." I sighed and rolled my eyes as she continued. "The new series of The Voice starts filming next week. You have to act as though everything is ok. Make excuses, look happy. If you can't do it for yourself, do it for the band." She finished. "Look, I'm off, but you'd better sort yourself out Dan." I scowled at my notebook as my manager left. She didn't know anything about me, I'd only known her for two months. My old manager was on paternity leave for a while. Honestly, why did men go on paternity leave anyway? All they really had to do was hold their wife's hand and pretend to know what they were going through! He'd better be back soon.
"Do you want a drink Dan?" Glen asked as he headed to the bar. I shook my head.
"She's right you know." Mark piped up. "You've been out of the spotlight for a while now, and the band's going downhill 'cos of it." I shrugged and grabbed a napkin, drawing patterns on it with a pen. "Oi!" Mark got my attention. "You need to sort it all out! Call Lena, or I will." I heard him stand up and leave to find Glen, so I grabbed my notebook and walked out of the restaurant before he could return.

So that's the first chapter! I know it's quite short and there isn't much about Lena and Sam in it but I was a little stuck. Anyway, hope you stay with this :)
The song for this chapter is The Pretender by FooFighters simply because I can't get it out of my head :) Please vote/ fan and comment!
