Sooyun slowly got up from the couch and rubbed her sleepy eyes. She looked around and saw that Amber is putting his files away. She groggily jumped off the couch and approached him.

"Appa, I want to pee." She informed him which made Amber raised his brows.

"Go to the restroom." He answered her.

"Take me there."she replied which made Amber's eye to twitch. "I don't know where it is." She continued.

Amber let out a deep sigh to calm down himself. He opened his office door and Sooyun step out first. They walk their way to the girl's restroom. The little girl is walking ahead of him while he is just trailing behind her. The girl employees are looking at him who is standing right outside the restroom. He did feel uncomfortable in his spot but he doesn't have any other choice. Sooyun had asked him to hold her little backpack.

"What taking that kid too long?" Amber mumbled under his breath as he started to get impatient.

He feel thankful when he saw her walking her way out of the restroom. She curved a grateful smile to her and seeing it made his annoyance to her to subside. He handed back the backpack to her and walk ahead but she run towards him and walk beside him. Amber stole a glance on her and he saw a happy expression on the little girl's face.

'Her parents are surely worried sick about her right now.' Amber thought.

AMBER's POV

I decided to bring her back to the condominium. I know her parents will come back to the place where she was gone missing. I approached the receptionists and asked them if there are people who are looking for any missing kid but they all shook their heads. I feel frustrated but she on the other hand are enjoying the situation right now.

"Thank you!" I said to them with a smile.

"Appa! My feet feels tired." She complained to me.

"What do you want me to do about it?" I asked her with sarcasm .

"Carry me." She demanded which made me scoffed in disbelief.

"No." I said to her as I put back my serious expression.

She looked at me with disappointment in her eyes and then it was slowly replaced with annoyance. She stomp her right foot which caught other people's attention in the hallway.

"Carry me! Carry me! Carry me!" she went on and on as she continued stomping her feet.

I feel embarrassed when other people start to look in our direction. I don't know how her parents raised her and I can't imagine what they had been through with this kind of daughter. I will understand now if they did abandon her.

"Alright!"I spoke and she stopped what she was doing. "Geez!" I cussed and picked her up.

I supported her with my right hand and she wrapped her hand around my shoulder for support. She is not really heavy though so there's nothing to complain. I head to the elevator and pressed the button.

"You should stop behaving like a spoiled brat." I told her.

"Appa should treat me like his princess."she retorted and rolled her eyes.

"Why do you keep calling me Appa? I am not your Appa." I said to her and it made her changed her expression.

"Umma was right! You are really stupid."she said with annoyance in her voice.

"What the..." I haven't finished my sentence. It's inappropriate to cursed right in front on the child's face.

"Will you just tell me who your parents are? I will personally take you to them." I told her and flashed a friendly smile to deceive her.

She looked straight into my eyes like she's searching for something. I noticed the sadness in her eyes before she looked away. She stayed quiet until we reached our floor. I didn't bother to ask her about her parents anymore because it seems that she doesn't want to talk about them for now.

"Umma is getting married to someone else."she suddenly spoke when I step out the elevator. "If she will get married to someone and not to my Appa, Sooyun will not exist." She continued with sadness in her voice.

I think she ran away because she doesn't want her mother to remarry. Maybe I looked like her late father that is why she is thinking that I am him. Somehow, I feel sorry for her.

"Don't you like your soon to be Appa?" I questioned her and she lightly shook her head.

"It's not that I don't like him for Umma. It's just that, if Umma will choose him, she won't end up with my Appa." She stated.

We looked at each other awkwardly. I kinda pity her because I think she is really burdened about it. I cleared my throat and broke our eye contact.

"Maybe having a new father is not that bad." I spoke.

"I told you, if Umma got married to him, Sooyun won't exist." She said to me with sarcasm in her voice.

"Trust me, you won't disappear in your mother's sight even if she got married again." I told her.

"Appa, you should meet Umma as soon as possible."she spoke.

"You know, even if we will meet now, I can't just snatch her away from her fiancé. It is not a good thing to do." I told her.

"But she really belongs to you and not to him." She retorted and walked ahead of me after she got down.

I followed her behind. After I open the door, she steps inside first. She looks gloomy now and I think it's because of what we had discussed earlier. She quietly sat down on the couch, hanging her head low. I steal a glance on her as I passed by going into the kitchen.

"Aish! I don't know what to do." I mumbled as I started to get worried about her.
