At home, I began to think about what Garrett said. Do I have a crush on Levi. I thought. No! I can't have a crush on him. I couldn't decide whether or not I had a crush on him, though I didn't really want to have one.
I called Lauren. "How would I know if I had a crush?" I asked.
Lauren screamed at the top of her lungs. I had to move the phone away from my ear. When I put it back against my ear, Lauren had hung up.
Within minutes I heard knocking on my door. It was Lauren, of course. When I opened the door, she had the most exuberant face I had ever seen on her before.
We went to my room and closed the door, so my mum wouldn't laugh at my maybe or maybe not crush.
"So, you have a crush on Levi?" Lauren shrieked with excitement. I even cringed a bit.
"I don't know," I whined. Lauren rolled her eyes.
"How long have you been hanging out without us knowing? We knew you had to at least seen him a few times because of the whole gift situation."
"About a month."
"Do you get a tickling feeling in your stomach when you see him?" She asked.
"Kinda," I answered back, unsure.
"Do you care about him?" This began to feel like an interview.
"Well, I don't want to hurt his feelings..."
Lauren interrupted me, "Levi told us about the whole fake audition and the kiss." I began to blush and felt stupid for what had happened. Lauren continued. "Did you enjoy when he kissed you?" She asked, raising and eyebrow.
I hesitated a while before I answered. "Yes," I murmured.
