Jake had been invited to stay at his friend's house tonight so I dropped him off and drove to Megan's to get ready. I wasn't that excited for the party to be fair. I have known Jamie quite a while so we were pretty close, I was quite glad seen as it was his party! I rang the door bell and waited. To my surprise Chris answered, I hugged him before following him up the stairs. Megan was laid on her bed in one of Chris' old rugby training vests. I sat down on the chair of her dressing table- "this is going to take a while" I thought to myself. After an hour of pain and torture Megan finally let me go and look in the mirror. My green eyes stood out with the help of Megan's makeup skills and my ginger hair which was now curled flowed past my shoulders. Meg did her hair quickly; she had already done her makeup earlier. "Chris, come up here for a minute" Megan called. Her hair was styled into a bun which was messy but not in a bad way. Chris got to the door and looked at Megan straight away but she was too occupied with trying to reach her other shoe from the top shelf of her wardrobe to realise. Chris walked over and handed her the shoe. She held the shoe as Chris did but neither moved as their eyes met he began to smile and them Meg soon followed suit. They are so cute together. But right now we need to get ready!
"Chris get out we need to get changed" I said, they both looked away from each other both blushing. Megan began shooing Chris out of the room. Once he was gone I got my dress on and sat on Megan's bed.
"So... What happened there?" I questioned jokingly.
"Molly, I think I like him!" She blurted out, unable to hold it in any longer.
"I knew it! You have never looked at any other boy like you look at Chris! Aww I knew you'd end up together." I was so pleased.
Once we were ready I got into my car and waited for Megan and Chris to get in his. I followed Chris to where the party was- Jamie's parents would not let him have one in their house. As we walked through the door the music hit us, it was so loud. I said hi to everyone I knew. Jamie found me and we stood chatting for a while. He started doing a silly dance so I joined in and soon we had been dancing together for nearly an hour, I was shattered. I continued to talk to people and had a couple more drinks. I played spin the bottle with a few girls but I soon got bored of that. Jamie tapped me on the shoulder and pointed to outside, he headed for the kitchen so I followed him.
