Molly's POV
Thoughts were flying through my head. The pain hit me again, what happened earlier was all I could think about. Pools of tears began to gather in my eyes and then one by one they began to run their course down my cheeks.
There was a knock at the door I looked up to see Zak already there to open it.
“Is Molly in there with you?” it was Jamie, I recognised his voice immediately. He was a little more sober than before as his words were formed properly rather than slurred.
“Yes why?” Zak asked coldly. Jamie tried to push past him but he wasn’t even strong enough to make Zak take one step back.
“You’re not coming in Jamie! She doesn’t need you fucking up her head anymore than you already have!” I heard Zak half yell at Jamie.
There was another bottle of cider on the floor next to me that Zak must have picked up, I grabbed it and gulped about a third of it down. It burnt my throat a little but it numbed the pain Jamie had caused. The alcohol started to make me forget all of the bad things. By the time Zak had eventually got Jamie to go away I had almost finished the cider. He looked at me, his eyebrows furrowed. Why did he look like that?
“Molly, are you okay? You don’t look too good” he said, his voice full of concern.
I almost said yes but I got a sour taste in my mouth. I shook my head, “Where’s the bathroom?” I said getting up with a stumble.
“Come here, I’ll show you” Zak told me. He put one arm around my waist and another held my arm to keep me steady. The bathroom that he led me was his on suite.
Zak’s POV
She was vulnerable and fragile. Molly was sat on the cold floor of my bathroom she looked in the large mirror that covered nearly a whole wall. Her face was drip white and she looked like she had seen a ghost. I was sat next to her playing with her long ginger hair. All of a sudden she shot up onto her knees and threw up into the toilet; I kneeled at her side and held her hair up. This wasn’t because of the alcohol this was because of the guy I called my best friend, he was a great guy normally but when alcohol was involved he turned into such a pig.
Molly sat back down she leant her head on my shoulder and began crying silently.
“Molly I know that this is because of Jamie but is it about what he did or what he said?” the question escaped my lips.
She had stopped crying and was absentmindedly tracing patterns on my leg but I didn’t mind in fact I liked it although I couldn’t work out why she was doing this.
“Molly?” I shook her shoulder slightly. It snapped her out of her trance.
“It was what he said that hurt the most...” she mumbled but it was loud enough for me to hear, “he thought he could use me. That hurt too but what he said hurt the most”
I pulled her towards me as she stretched her arms out to embrace me. After a while she stood up walked back into my room and sat on my bed. She started brush her dress down. Her dress was light blue and it fell to just above her knee; it had one strap which was covered in fabric flowers.
Molly’s POV
“I can’t believe I just threw up in front of him!” I thought to myself feeling like an idiot. Zak was laid casually on his bed; he patted the empty space at his side encouraging me to lay with him. I hesitated.
“Oh come on. I won’t bite” he said and then winked; he had a playful tone when he said it. I allowed myself to lie next to him, we were facing each other and I could see him smile when I lay down. We were facing each other. Our breaths mingled. “I want to know more about you, that sounds really weird but I don’t know... you are so hidden away.” Zak whispered as we were so close.
“How about we play twenty questions?” I suggested.
“Sure, I’ll ask you first” Zak said, “Do you have any brothers or sisters?”
“Yeah I have a younger brother called Jacob, he’s only five” I pictured his little face in my mind smiling at his chubby cheeks.
“Cool, so you’re best mates with Megan and that other douche then?” Zak asked
“Yeah and don’t call Chris a douche, he’s a good guy! I thought you two were mates?” I wondered why he had called him that.
“We’re fine, I was only joking.” He chuckled at my reaction, “Hey, do you want to get out of here?”
“Where are we gonna go?” I asked already standing up and slipping my heels back on.
“We can go for a walk if you want?” Zak asked with a glint in his beautiful deep blue eyes. I liked his eyes, a lot.
“Yeah, that’d be great. Let me tell Megan that I'm going and that I will walk home so she doesn’t have to wait for me” I smiled as I explained.
“Ok I’ll come with you” Zak replied.
We were about to begin walking down the staircase when Zak grabbed my hand and spun me so that I looked at him.
“I have wanted to say this all night. Molly Clarkson you look stunning.” Zak looked me in the eyes as he said this.
I felt myself blushing. I put my hands up to his cheeks.
“And I have wanted to say this all night. Zak Thompson kiss me.” I whispered but I knew he had heard me as he was smiling and I was now pressed up against the wall. We were inches away from each other and the space was closing in.
Zak’s POV
Molly’s soft lips met mine. It started as a gentle kiss but I could tell that we both wanted more. I licked Molly’s bottom lip so that she opened up. She tasted so good it was addictive. I began kissing along her jaw and then down her neck she let out a small moan- she loved this and so did I.
I pulled away and saw her eyes open slowly making her look even sexier. She held my hands and smiled.
“Was that ok for you Miss?” I asked playfully.
“No...” she said sternly. My smirk dropped, what did she mean?
