"No... It was perfect!" Molly reassured me with a smile.

"Glad you enjoyed it" I winked.

We walked down the stairs holding hands our fingers entwined. When we reached the bottom Molly led the way to where Megan was. Molly explained what was going on and Megan said that it was fine and told her to call her when she got home.

"I'll be back in a minute I need to go change my shoes in the car" Molly said.

She left the house and a few minutes later came back in with her converse on, they were grey with little blue on them.

"I can't believe you are gonna go out with her when she looks like that!" Megan said jokingly.

We laughed and said our goodbyes and set off walking.

Molly's POV

My phone started vibrating in my shoe (I have no pockets in my dress!).

"Hello?" I said as I didn't bother to look at the caller ID.

"What did you pick that prick over me for?! Is it because he just comes over and plays Superman saving an innocent girl. Well Molly I hope you realise that you are diving head first into more problems!" Jamie practically shouted down the other end of the phone.

"No! You were the one who was being the prick! I thought I could trust you but obviously not. Anyway you know that half of the girls in our year at school are head over heels in love with you so why not start fresh with a girl that deserves you? Go find yourself a nice girl and treat her like a princess!" I told him.

"You would've been my princess if you'd of let me carry on..."

"Well I didn't and never will for a guy like you." I told him then cut him off as we continued walking. I have no clue where we are going but the peace is nice.

"Down here" Zak pointed in the direction that we needed to head in. We walked for about 5 more minutes until we came to a deserted playground with 2 swings, a slide, a seesaw and a roundabout. We sat down on the hill which was in front playground.

"Look up Molly" Zak said rather quietly.

"Wow... that's, well, umm..." I was speechless.

"Beautiful?" Zak said as he looked at me finishing off my failed attempt of describing the stars. The sky looked as if it were a blanket covering a light and there were pinpricked holes in this blanket which caused these beautiful constellations and clusters.

I shivered as the cool breeze hit my exposed arms and shins. Zak already had his arm around my shoulders so he realised that I was cold and lent me his soft hoodie. I stood up and put the jacket on and straightened it out. Zak sniggered.

Zak's POV

"What? Why are you laughing?" Molly asked.

"You are way too self-conscious Molly" I told her.

"No! I'm not too self-conscious!" Molly yelled, she was almost at the tipping point of her anger but I wasn't going to let her win now.

"Yes Molly. You are way too self-conscious. For example, how long did you spend doing your hair and makeup?"

"An hour but that doesn't prove anything! That just proves that I make an effort when I go to parties etc!" Molly shouted back at me.

"I'm sure twenty minutes would have been enough time to do your hair and makeup! But instead you took a whole hour and I bet that at least ten minutes of that hour will have been you saying "do I look okay?" or changing your hairstyle because it "doesn't look right"! You are definitely way too self-conscious! Why are you so self-conscious?" I lowered my voice a little but not a lot. I had stood up by this time and our bodies were almost touching but our argument continued.
