"Molly you can stay the night if you like?" Zak asked thoughtfully.

"Are you sure? I'll go home if you want" I replied suddenly feeling as if I was in the way.

"No it's fine, stay my parents won't mind." He told me.

"Thanks Zak" I smiled.

"You're welcome. Listen I need to have a shower so do you mind if I use the one in there?" He pointed to his bathroom, "I can use the one in the other bathroom if not?"

"It's your bathroom so go use it." I laughed.

"Yeah but I don't want you to feel awkward and stuff" he explained.

I lay back on his bed when I heard the shower turn on. The sound of the water is quite soothing. As I was laid peacefully on the bed I heard singing, at first I thought it could be John as it was a male voice but it wasn't as deep as John's. I stood up and walked towards the closed bathroom door and pressed my ear against it, Zak was singing at the top of his voice. "You're insecure... don't know what for. You're turning heads when you walk through the door..." He was singing One Direction- What makes you beautiful at the top of his voice. I laughed to myself until I heard the shower turn off. I shot back to the bed and laid on my front looking bored. The bathroom door opened.

Whoa. He was completely shirtless, stood there in just his jeans. He has amazing abs.

"Earth to Molly...Anyone there?" Zak said with that sexy smirk while waving his hand at me.

"Yeah yeah sorry." I could feel my cheeks getting warmer.

"Don't be embarrassed about being distracted by my gorgeous body" he winked and I burst out laughing, the way he said it was so funny that even he couldn't keep a straight face for long.

"Nice singing by the way! Keep it up and One Direction might recruit you as their newest member." I smiled.

"Well I don't know if I could handle all of that attention from all of those girls, I wouldn't know which one to choose. I guess I could have more than one as long as it was secret." Zak explained sarcastically.

Zak's POV

We both started laughing and our eyes locked on each others. Until Molly's phone started ringing. She reached over to my bedside table to answer it.

"Hi nana" she said cheerily. I couldn't hear what her grandma was saying

"What's wrong?" Molly's voice got more serious.

Molly froze. Tears were streaming down her face. She dropped the phone onto my bed.

"Molly what's wrong?" I asked worriedly. Molly couldn't form her words because she was too upset.

I walked over to pick the phone up.

"Hello?" I said into the phone as I walked back to where I had been stood.

"Who is this?" Molly's grandma asked, she sounded sweet but also worried about who Molly was with.

"I'm Zak Thompson, Molly's friend." I answered.

"Hello Zak, I am Evelyn, Molly's grandmother. Molly's dad has been in a car crash and he is now in the hospital. Her mum has done a runner and I don't think she is coming back. Do you drive?" Evelyn asked.

"Yes I drive, do you want me to drop her off at the hospital?" I was happy to help.

"Yes please, Molly is lucky to have you! I don't want to sound ungrateful for your help but do you think you would be able to stay with her? I'm sure she would appreciate you being there and then she would have someone to talk to rather than me and her granddad." I was happy that she had asked me to stay because I couldn't leave in this sort of situation.
