Chapter 40

It was Annalise, Emma, Mason, Kevin, Jake, Blake, Ann, and the most surprising person of all Cindy.

They came over to have a chat since they haven't seen me in a week or so now. All of them missed me they were filled with hugs and kisses for me. Cindy even gave me a hug because without me she could've married a person that she didn't like.

She finally gave up on Edwin when I left instead she has her eyes locked on the best person for her right now... Blake. Blake of course doesn't know that she likes her and she doesn't know he likes her.

I'm pretty sure soon they'll come together into a couple, at first I didn't like her but now I'm somewhat changing my perspective about her. I guess Blake was true, she is different on the inside then the outside.

I saw a random girl in the doorway too but I didn't say anything about the girl. "Everyone this is Reese Leo, she's my..." He blushed hard and so did the girl. "She's my girlfriend." He said cutely as I smile at him, I was happy for him.

Everything seems perfect at a moment.

I woke up because the sun was burning my eyes, why was the bed so warm? I opened my eyes and I see Edwin, I smile, this is why the bed is so warm. I snuggled myself closer to Edwin who seemed so warm to me.

"Morning honey." He said to me with a smile as I looked up to him and he kiss my forehead. "Morning sweetheart." I said back as he smiled back at me.

The white sheets made look like an angel to me, he always did anyway. "What time is it?" I asked him as he looked up at the clock behind me. "8:00 am." He answered to me.

I stood up from the bed,"What where are you going?" He asked me as he sat there on the bed. "I'm going to see someone, do you want to come?" I asked him as he though about it for a second and nodded his head.

"Sure." He said said we both head into the bathroom. I had on a big shirt without any pants on while Edwin had just boxers on.

We brushed our teeth as changed into casual clothes, I was wearing a open black and red flannel with a black t-shirt under it. I had on a pain or light blue jeans with my black converse.

We got into the car as Edwin started the engine,"Can we drop by the flower store for a second please?" He gave me a question look but then he just drove to the store anyway.

He sat in the car as I order a bouquet of red roses, I bought them and walked back into the car. "Are those for me?" Edwin asked me with a grin but then I told him no. "They're for someone special." I explained to him.

I pointed him the directions to the place as he finally stopped, it was a graveyard. I walked a few steps until we finally arrived at her gravestone.

"Hi mom." I said with a smile as I emptied the old flower and traded them with the new roses. "This is Edwin, he's the one that I love. I hope that your continue to pray for me and for dad, he still needs to change a bit but I think he's change the past year." I told her with a smile.

I missed her so much, even after all these years. Edwin walked to me and held my hand to comfort me. "Thank you for give birth to this jewel and I hope you pray for us. I hope that we can build a family and future together." Edwin said as he squeezed my hand.

We soon walked back to our car but then I spotted my dad. "Hi honey." He said to me as I looked at his eyes. The were soft like how they were before she died.

He opened his arms for me, I gave Edwin a look as he nodded. I jumped into the fatherly arms that I've wanted for the past few years. "Sorry I left you alone for the few years." He said to me as he hugged me tighter.

"It's fine as long as your here now." I told him as I felt a tear drop fell onto my shoulder.

We soon finished up and headed back home. Edwin took my hand was interlocked it with his as he kissed my hand.

"I love you." He said as we got into the car, I smiled. He drove me back to his place as we came home Ann was up and running around.

I wanted the rest of my life to be like this... With Edwin.
