I walked out of of the cafe after I finished my cup of coffee. The weather outside is sunny with a few clouds I walked through the streets wondering what I'll do next.

Than another TV caught my eyes and it said the gang 'Shadow' is on the lose in California now. I felt relieved a bit when I heard that... At least my dad isn't in New York City anymore.

I walked down the street as I saw a bundle of pitched-black hair and Irish eye. I glance back to see if it was Edwin I'm sure it wasn't.

Edwin's Point of View

I saw some brown hair that was shiny and caught my eyes, I turned around and stared at the girl. She seem so similar to Alex... I feel like she is.

Three person's Point of View

What they didn't know was that they actually saw each other but they doubt themselves.

Alex's Point of View

A week has past since I moved to Houston TX and so far the place was nice. But it didn't feel like New York City at all, the place wasn't as crowed as New York.

And they didn't have my friends... I only have Charles here with me. I felt really bad since he had to leave New York City because of me, he even left Lily back.

I walked over to the counter of the convenient store, I've just recently started to work there to get money to live on. A person handed me some items as I scanned them and set them to the other side.

"Card or credit?" I asked the customer as they stood there and didn't answer me. I looked up from the cash register screen, "Cash or cr-" I stopped for a second and it was Blake.

"How did you find me?" I asked him, I was studded as he stared at him. "That well... I think I know you a bit too well, I mean you said that you wanted to live in a normal place when you were little. One of the places that you said was Houston, TX since your mom's childhood was here." He explained as I chuckled.

"You know me a bit too well." I said as he grinned to me. "You know everything changed when you left." He said as my eyes widened for a second.

"What do you mean everything changed?" I asked him back.

"Lot of things happened once you left... Annalise and Emma have been crying about it. And Edwin..." He started as my heart started to beat a bit, even though he broke my heart a little piece of my love for him was still there.

I immediately grabbed Blake's shoulders shaking him until he finally talked. "What happen? Is he alright? Is he hurt?" I asked him.

"Yeah his heart is hurt and he's trying hard to stand up like a man, but he can't do it if your not there. So many things have happened... His dad died the day after you left. Then his step-mom forced him to engage to Cindy in order to increase the bond between the two companies." Blake explained to me I felt bad that I wasn't there for him during the hardest times of his life.

Then I remember about how he rejected me, he didn't love me so why would he even miss me. "No your wrong... I asked him if he had feelings for me and he said no. He doesn't need me at the end, I'm just another girl. I'm not important at all." I didn't believe Blake after what Edwin told me.

His fist curled into a ball as he stared at me, I was on the edge of crying. He pulled my head up with his hands and made me look at him straight in the face.

"Alex looked and listen to me okay?" I nodded when he asked as he continued," If Edwin doesn't love you then I don't even know what love it is anymore because I see the way he looks at you."

"He's not the only one suffering even Cindy is suffering too. She doesn't want to get married to Edwin either and I can't stand seeing her cry anymore." He said with sorrow eyes.

"I can't go back yet..." I told him as he let go of my face and looks at the floor. "Here it's a party ticket for the engagement party, you should talk to him afterward. It's a VIP ticket." He said as he slid me two tickets.

"The other one is for Charles, tell him Lily said she missed him. And everyone else miss you." Blake explained as he slide his card and takes the bag of items that he just bought.

He walks out of the door as I held the tickets up from the counter, should I go? I can see him one more time. I missed him deep in my heart, why is this one-sided love so painful?

I made a fist and held it close to my heart, it hurt.

Suddenly Charles called me on the phone, as I picked up the phone. "What's up, Charles?" I asked him as I could feel that it was urgent.

"Hey get ready tomorrow, we're going to an engagement party. Your dad is there and I think he's planning an attack on David. I think your dad is going to kill David, and you might never see him again but when you visit him in jail." Charles said even he was worried.

Even though I didn't like my dad, no matter what he's my dad and even after all the things he's done. He raised me and he used to be a awesome dad.

I hope he could change and look into the future not the tragic past of his dead wife and son. I wanted him to see that he still has a daughter right here and she's still with him no matter what.

"Okay I'm coming, but this time we're going without a disguise and I got our tickets." I said him as he agreed but he sounded worried a bit.

"You know what's coming up right?" Charles asked me as I looked on the calendar and see what day it's about to be.

"Yeah her death day is coming, I remember." I said to him.
