~Julie's pov~
My eyes were blurry as I awoke to the bright artificial light. I lifted my arm to try to wipe the smug away but it only cause pain to shot down my back intensively. I blinked a few times as my eyes focused some more. As I looked around nothing seemed to be out of place. Just a normal hospital room. Boy, was I wrong.
~Mace's pov~
After making a scene, my loving interaction with the locker, came to an end I realized how many people were actually watching. I pushed my way threw the crowd to the door. I held back all emotion. It felt as if the people were closing in on me tighter and the door slowly got farther away. When in reality, everyone moved cautiously and I was out in the matter of seconds.

It was only a matter of minutes before I was in tears. I haven't cried in so long, but the hot tears streamed down my dry cheeks almost effortlessly.
"Hey, are you alright?.." I quickly wiped my face to the sound of a girls voice. However, I didn't turn to face her.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Really," she continued "You don't look so good." I turned around quickly meeting with her, face to face. Her lightly curled blonde hair fell to her shoulders. Her green eyes looked piercingly at me in shock. I had scared her.
"I'm fine.." I replied, trailing off the end. My anger slowly slipped away from my body as I realized I had startled her. She was a complete stranger. And no, not the kind that you see around school but never talk to, I've honestly never, ever, seen her before. I studied her features a bit more. And that's when the suspicion grew deep inside my stomach.
