"W-What?" I stuttered out.

"Will you please be my girlfriend?" He repeated again, a little more confident this time.

We stared at each other for a while before I punched his arm and started laughing. "It's Megan, wasn't it? She told you to do this? I'm gonna kill her. That stupid bitc-"

"No!" He growled. "That's not it! I.....I've liked you for a long time."

I bit my bottom lip and looked down at my feet. "I-I don't know what to say.....I've never thought of you more than a brother...."

"Would you kiss your own brother?!" He shouted. Kiss?? "At the party! When you were dared to pretend to be my girlfriend or whatever....." Oh...right.

"But that was a dare..."

"So you're saying you can just kiss anyone without any feelings?" He asked.

"Yes," I answered honestly. "Listen to me, Lolo. We've been friends for.....seventeen years? And you are the closest family member to me after my mom. A-And I don't want that to change....."

"I-I understand....." He mumbled. "Let's get back to the others.

I nodded and followed behind him. When we caught up with the group again, Logan stood as far as possible from me.

"Look at the view," my father pointed down the cliff. You could see the road from up here and our cabin just below us.

"It's so beautiful," Regina sighed in front of me.

Jessica was standing beside me and she was smiling up at William. We started taking pictures when Regina suddenly fell off the small hill and tumbled to the ground, screaming.

"Regina!" We all ran after her. "Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" My dad asked.

"My stomach," she cried. "It hurts!" Tears were streaming down her face and she was breathing hard. "The baby! What if something happened?"

"It's okay....it's okay. Let's get back to the cabin first and we'll call a doctor." My father tried to calm her down.

"You!" Jessica glared at me. "You pushed my mom didn't you?"

What? "Of course not!"

"How could you do this?" Jessica pushed me. "I know you hate me and my mom but the baby has done nothing to you!"

"I didn't push her-"

"You were the only one standing close to her!" She snarled.

Before I knew it, my dad had stood up and slapped me across the face. Everyone gasped and someone pushed me behind their back.

"Calm down, Mr. Hedericks!" It was William.

"You sick bastard! How could you do this to someone innocent? I thought you were finally coming around but this-" he stopped, taking deep breaths.

Twice. He slapped me twice before letting me explain. Tears were streaming down my cheeks and I was sobbing behind William.

"I can't believe I thought you changed! You're still a brat!"

I pushed William out of the way and glared at my father. "Yes! I'm a brat! But so what? You've never stop to listen to my explanation! You've never believed in me but your precious step daughter and your second wife! I hate you!" I screamed in his face.

His eyes widen and he turned around to pick Regina up. "I wished you've never been born," he muttered under his breath before walking away

I felt all of my energy drain out of my body. It wasn't worth it. I turned around and made a run into the woods, not looking back once.
