It's been two days. Two days since I've seen him. There were two reasons why. First, because I stopped going to the park. And second, he hasn't shown up at school for the rest of the week.

I was currently sitting in the kitchen at Ryder's party. He probably hates my guts and wishes I never came to his party because he's been glaring at me every two seconds that we made eye contact.

"You're not gonna drink?" Megan asked as she downed another cup.

"I'm not feeling good right now," I replied.

"Are you okay? You want me to take you home?" Logan asked.

I shook my head. "You're drunk you should probably sleep here tonight."

"But I'm okay!" He exclaimed. "I had like what?" He began counting with his fingers. "This many drinks!" He gave me four fingers with his index finger down.

"He's drunk," Tina stated bluntly.

"Yep," Megan agreed.

"No I'm not!" He whined. "Whatever I'm gonna go dance." He stood up abruptly.

"But you can't dance," I drawled, raising my eyebrows as him.

He glared at me and flicked back his invisible hair back. "Better than hanging out with you losers," then he left.

"I think someone should follow him before he causes trouble." I stated.

The last time he got drunk, he nearly jumped off the roof of my garage, thinking that he'd survive by landing on my dad's car.

"Why are you looking at me?" Megan asked.

"Well I'm not going so either one of you two go or both of you are going." I smiled.

"You are the laziest person I've ever met," Megan glared at me before standing up. "Let's go, Tina. Don't wanna stay with her too long or her bad influences will rub off on you."

I chuckled as the two of them walked off towards the direction that Logan disappeared to.

After sitting there for a while, I was getting bored of this party so I stood up and began making my way around the counter.

Some drunk person bumped into me and made me stagger back and stumbled into the stack of red cups and it fell to the ground.

I looked up and noticed it was William. My heart suddenly leaped in my chest and I began picking up the cups to distract my beating heart from jumping out of my chest.

"Now you see...." William slurred.

I looked up again and he was smirking down at me.

"If I was nice....I would've helped you but...." He trailed off.

I rolled my eyes and placed it back on the counter and began making my way around him until he grabbed me and pinned me against the counter.

"Why are you running away from me, Em?" He whispered huskily into my ear.

I shivered and held onto the counter to keep my balance. "I-I...."

He leaned down and kissed the area below my ear and I bit my bottom lip to keep in a moan. He began giving me peppered kisses down my neck and to my jaw. When he settled in on my lips he paused.

"You're so beautiful,"

My heart was racing in my chest and my eyes were tightly shut. All I hear was my hard breathing.

Then he leaned down closer. But before his lips could connect to mine's he pulled back and started laughing.

I felt my heart dropped for getting fooled by this man twice.

I glared at him as he wiped his tears.

"Sorr...." He laughed again. After a while he finally stopped and coughed, standing up straight and wiping his jeans as if he's finished a dirty job. "It was a dare," he pointed his thumb back and my eyes followed until it landed on a group of kids.

I turned back towards him and he chuckled.

"Sorry, they were saying you looked lonely over here."

I pushed him back and left through the front door. I glanced back one last time and saw that he had his head hung low and his hands were in his pocket.

Without giving another thought, I began making my way towards the park.

I stared at the lights, thinking about my mom. If only she was here. Then I began thinking about Tyler. My brother and the school principal. Ever since he got married, he never came home.

Every Christmas he would send me a gift. He's never talked to father ever since the day my mother passed away. I felt tears forming around my eyes and I sniffed, wiping it away.

"Why are you crying?"

I immediately turned around and my breath hitched when I saw him standing a couple of inches away.

"W-What are you doing here? I thought you were-" I paused. He had on his mask again. But why?

"You thought I was what?"

I shook my head. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you....I haven't seen you for two days."

"That's because I didn't want to see you," I stated.

He leaned down and I pushed my arms out so we were arms length apart.

"What are you doing?"

He brought his hand up and rubbed my cheeks softly. My hands tighten around his shirt and he began pushing his body closer towards mine's.

I eventually gave up as he pressed our chest together. My hands had somehow found their way around his neck as he tilted my head up.

"Your eyes are so beautiful....so green...." He whispered.

My eyes shut on its own as his breath fanned against my lips.

"Emery...." He pressed our nose together. "I'm gonna call you Emerald from now on. Just like your eyes."

I didn't answer. I'm not supposed to like him.

"Is that okay?" He whispered. When I didn't give him an answer he pressed his lips against mine's in a quick peck. "Answer me....if you don't answer me....I'm gonna kiss you until you're breathless."

I felt my lips tremble. He was smirking against my lips.

"Can I kiss you?"

No. "Yes..."

His lips curled up before he closed that small gap and entangled his fingers with my hair. His lips were so soft yet the kiss was demanding and rough.

He continued ravishing my mouth with his tongue as his hands slid down to my butt. He lifted me up and I straddled his waist. Then he set me down on the railing and began tugging on my lip.

We both ran out of breath and pulled back, pressing our foreheads against each others through the mask.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked breathlessly.

He smiled and pecked my lips once. Twice. Three times. Then he sighed and gently rubbed the tip of my bottom lip.

"Because....." He whispered huskily. "Because I think I like you...."
