"How are you feeling?" Logan asked as I took a seat beside him.

"Did they say anthing? About who pushed her?" Megan pitched in.

"Or if she was the one who fell on her own?" Tina stated.

"Regina is blaming me but my dad knows it's not me. He believes me." I answered.

"Really? That's great!" Megan exclaimed.

"So what really happened out there?" Logan asked.

I sighed and leaned against my hand. "I don't think we should talk about it..."

"Why? We're your friends, aren't we?" Megan snapped. "You act as if you don't want us to know. Like you don't trust us."

A couple of students stopped talking and turned their heads to look at us.

"No....I meant I don't think we should talk about it here. How about you guys all come over to my house tonight and I'll explain everything. I don't want others eavesdropping on our conversation."

"Okay...." Megan murmured. "I'm sorry for snapping....I just....I just feel like you're not very open with us anymore." She looked down at her hands.

I wrapped my arms around her shoulder and smiled. "I'm sorry.....it's just that there's been so much drama going on lately."

"Yeah, I know." She replied. "I'm such a bad friend," she sniffed, wiping the corner of her eyes. "I should've been more understanding."

I shook my head. "You guys are the best friends ever."

Logan and Tina smiled and joined our hug.

"Awh, what is this? Make up day?" We all looked up and saw William walking into the classroom. "Should I join too?" He made his way towards us when the teacher suddenly walked in.

"Everyone to your seats,"

Everyone hurried to their desk and we broke the hug. When class was over, we all began making our way to second period. "You guys go ahead, I'm gonna go to the bathroom."

"Alright," We all waved goodbye and went our own direction. Right before I reached the bathroom, someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a nearby classroom.

I opened my mouth to scream when the person suddenly covered my scream with his lips.

I moaned as his tongue traveled my mouth and his hands snaked around my waist. When he finally pulled away, he pressed our heads together.

"What are you doing, William?" I asked breathlessly.

"I've missed you...." He whispered.

I smiled and pulled away to look at his face. His face was flushed and his eyes were half opened.

"Emery....I think.....I think I like you."

I felt my heart stopped and I looked up into his hazel eyes and those mesmerizing gold flecks.

Jared.

"W-We can't do this anymore....." I mumbled.

A look of pain crossed his face before he quickly asked, "Why not?"

"Because.....because Jared has always been there for me and I....I can't betray him."

"But I love you!" He blurted out.

My eyes widen and I looked down, pulling away from his grip. "But I don't," I murmured before rushing out of the classroom towards my second period.

That night I explained everything that happened to my friends. We all decided to sleep over, Logan on the couch in my room and the three of us on my king sized bed.
