"but mama ple- wait you said i could go?"
"yeah.. don't make me regret it, lita. i mean it!" mom grins "you're a teenager, you need to get out anyways! have fun. i was once your age once too, i know how it is"
"thank you! thank you! thank youuu!" i squeal, hugging my mom, tightly.
this was the biggest party of the school year and i wanted to go, have fun and get my mind off of hayes.
it's been pretty difficult, switching between houses every other weekend. but i'd choose this over it being able to see my dad at all, anytime. it wasn't as bad, dad was in the same town, so i still had all my friends, and made some new ones by his house as well. there were pros and cons of being the victim of joint custody.
