"mama, can i talk to you for a bit?" i question, standing the the door frame of my moms room.
she looked up from her laptop, her glasses placed firmly against her nose. she smiled, nodding before closing her laptop and placing it down on her bed. i grin, hopping onto her bed. that's what i loved about my mom, even if she was extremely busy, she'd take time out for me.
"what's up, míjá?"
"okay, so i know this is might be dumb. but, i honest to god think i really love hayes, recently he's all i can think of. i know you're gonna say, school comes first but máma i've never felt this way about a boy before, it's everything he does that just makes me fall deeply for him." i say, playing with the ring my father gave me.
"my baby is growing up! it's not stupid at all, míjá. it's love, puppy love. i was just like you at this age, when i met your father especially. that's nothing to be afraid of, i'm sure hayes feels the same about you, it's clear to see. it's in the way he looks at you, the way he smiles at you. everything." my mom smiles gently
i hug my mom and thank her, she smiles happy that i came to her for advice. i left her to finish her work going to my room.

hayes and i, pretty much talked for the rest of the night, his voice calmed me down it was soothing yet sexy, it was something i adored about him, besides his smile and eyes. i was excited for what he had planned for tomorrow, i was curious was to what he had planned. whatever it was, it didn't matter. i was just happy to be with him, that's all that mattered to me.
