"babe," hayes coos, i groan not wanting to leave his presence "i promised your mom i'd have you home on time"

"five more minutes, please" i whine, throwing the covers over my body. i was sore, and didn't want to move. it felt weird to move and i just wanted to relax and take in what just happened.

hayes moves the hair out of my face, placing a light peck onto my forehead. i smile at the small gesture and admire his face. i really was falling for this boy, who would've thought that i would be with him. he chose me, out of all girls. i was flattered by the though, just to know i have his heart and he has mine enlightened me. "you know i love you, right?" i grin, positioning myself on my elbow

"i love you" hayes responds, placing a light kiss on my shoulder before getting up.

i check my phone while hayes begins to get dressed, scrolling through a few post and texting my mom, letting her know that i'd be home shortly. after the text is sent, i get up and walk to the bathroom.

"you walk like a penguin!" hayes chuckles, walking into the bathroom

"leave me alone, meanie" i whine "and get out, i wanna pee in peace."

"noo," hayes pouts "i wanna talk to you"

i shake my head, shooing him out the bathroom. after, i finally get peace to use the bathroom i do what i have to do, wash my hands and exit.

"hurry and get dressed, i'll give you some privacy" hayes says, kissing my cheek before he leaves the room.

i grab my shorts from off the floor, shimming into them. i look for my shirt, which was last seen on the floor but can't seem to found at the moment. instead of searching for the shirt, i look for one of hayes shirts and slip into my sneakers. grabbing all my belongings, i walk downstairs to find hayes talking on the phone

"she's here. i'll call you back" he quickly says noticing me. confused at the sudden gesture, i shrugged it off thinking it was just nothing - but i was still a little curious as to who it was, and knowing hayes he'd be honest about it.

"who was that?" i tilt my head a bit, "did i interrupt your conversation?"

"no, and it was your mom don't worry" hayes shrugs, i nod and let him know i'm ready.

"i'll see you guys later," hayes kisses my moms cheek , then mine

i smile at their bond, my mom had grown to love hayes and i was glad, i didn't want it to be an awkward situation where she didn't like him. my dad and his boyfriend enjoyed hayes and i too, my dad joked with hayes a lot and we all talked about things. it was the same with hayes family, i loved them just as much as they loved me. it was like we were all becoming one, big happy family.

"my baby," my mom grins "you're growing up so fast, tomorrow you'll be 18. it seems like just yesterday me and your father were holding you."

i smile, hugging my mom. "thank you for everything mamí, i truly appreciate everything you and pa have done for me. can we have one more movie night, just me and you?"

my mom nods, i smile running upstairs and get into something more comfortable. our matching pajamas, that we always wore on our movie nights. it was like our little tradition.

"i was thinking, we watching something scary" i suggest, my mom nods looking for the best movie. we decided to go with 'veronica'. an all time favorite in this household. once the movie starts, me and my mom settle down, sharing the blanket and some snacks.

"ella es tan estúpido!" my mom shouts at the tv, i laugh at my moms frustration. glad to be sharing this moment with her.

i have a lot of explaining to do, so i'm just gonna cut to the chase.

i haven't had much inspiration, with this book and the books i've been working on for you guys 😕. i haven't forgotten about any of y'all, i've been working on so many other books that i forgot the task at hand.

finishing the book for you guys, i was reading through comments and it gave me a lot of inspiration to wanna write. you guys inspired me to write this chapter, i have constantly promised you guys that i'd be back and i keep failing you guys. i am truly sorry, i cannot constantly update, which i thought i'd be able to do this summer but i cant.

i've been really busy working, but i've been writing. so i'll have SOMETHING out for you guys in a few, hopefully a few chapters for this book as well because i really didn't enjoy this book. over this week, i'll be looking through and making some edits bc there are some things i would like to change.

i cannot promise, but i can most definitely try. for you guys. so here's a little something, from me to you guys.
