Chapter Fifteen

Maximus pov

Alianna was chained and gagged with cuts and bruises all over her face and her body, the sight made my anger suddenly grew. Without thinking I flew up and dived at my father gripping him by his collars and shoving him against the door.

"What did you do"! I spat angrily.

Elizabeth: " Maximus"!!!...... mother screamed.

Everyone now was rushed over to me trying to get me to release him, I knew he could've fought back but he just looked at me stunned. When realization hit that I attack my own father I quickly released him and went on one bended knee in submission with my head bowed.

Everyone was silent and shocked.....I can't believe I just did that!....what sort of power does she possess over me????....we all waited.....surely I will be punished.

When he finally spoke he said to my surprise: "rise son".

I stood instantly but my head was still bowed.

Shaemus: "look at me son".....he said softly......"and tell me what's going on".

It was Jauree who spoke:

"The girl......she is his soul partner"

My mother gasp and my father's eyes widen.

"Lets go to our meeting room".....father spoke.....'we need to talk.'

Everyone Started moving except me, I went to door again and watch as Alianna wiggled and growled, seeing her hurt ripped my heart and all I wanted to do was comfort her but she attack father....why would she do that....she is such a contrast as to who I met at the party....who are you Alianna?..... I whispered, almost to myself I had spoke.

Soon after.....I left and joined the rest of my family.
