Chapter Twenty - Two

I was walking in the woods again, the same woods that i always see her but this one was different.... there was no singing yet I know i was being called. 

It was a trance, i can always tell when i am in it but i cant never stop it on my own. The mist was all around as usual and i hear the familiar sound of the gentle stream of river flowing, i was close and if i needed further confirmation the huge oak tree came into view, it was only a matter of moments now..... i was gonna see her, and even if it was only in a dream i will take it, i will take it and cherish any moment  in any way that i could be with her.

When i went around the huge oak tree all i at first was more mist......and it was thick and heavy, i knew someone was there but i couldn't  make out the individual. Suddenly a gush of wind passed and  lifted the clouds the person was now coming into full view.... i was ready, i was ready to behold her beautiful face and as the mist fade I finally saw her.... it was no other than my beautiful......... Rose?

She stood there clear as day in my trance, but how could this be ..... and where was Alianna?

"what are you doing here"?... i demanded angrily... of course i was pissed, i haven't seen Alianna for weeks now and to know i was finally gonna see her had raised my hope but only to be disappointed.

"I don't have much time"..... she said shakily .... "This was the only way i could get to you without them knowing"

It was obvious she was scared  and it suddenly made me wonder what her story was.

"why are you helping them if you don't want to"?!... i blurted... it was beginning to annoy me, i mean we could use her on her side for fuck sake.

she sighed: " my little sister..... they threaten to hurt my little sister if i didn't aid them.... we're orphans and my little sister Sara got adopted and she is finally happy and at ease.... i have already hurt her enough".... i saw the tears gathered in her eyes, i knew then she was a victim just as my little Alianna was...." it's my fault..... it's my fault our pare - our parents died'..... the tears were running know and my heart broke, i slowly went over and held her "...... i was trying a spell when i was a kid and i had recently learned i was gifted, my parents were normal but my grandmother was who my powers descended from  and after she died her powers were passed down to me... i was over excited and i was trying a very dangerous spell i had found in my grandma's diary, it was to bring back the dead.... i had a pet dog Shelia and she had died and i was lonely, Shelia was my best friend and i wanted her back!.... so i cast a spell in hopes of doing just that and for a minute i thought it had worked when i saw the lights flicker and such but when i went downstairs to the kitchen, i saw my parents, they were.... they were.... they were----"

she couldn't finish and she didn't need to, i held her tightly.

" so they using Sara to get you to aid them"?... i asked and she nodded in my embrace.

I sighed... " it's OK.... shh it's OK" and i rocked her gently as she cried on my shoulders. 

When she was done she looked up into my eyes and smiled:

"you're a good one Maximus.... Alianna is lucky to have you"

"and so is Jauree when it comes to you"... i added and i saw a look of hurt in her eyes..." he probably hates me"... she said.

I smiled : " it's the opposite actually... he loves you"... i said smiling and immediately it's like she was revived and she started smiling brightly.

Rose: "ok... ok, ok..... now listen carefully.... they are planning something big, they're trying to create so much disturbance so the council will come in and wipe out your entire coven...  he hates Shaemus, he hates him for taking Elizabeth and he wants you all to suffer..... he is coming Maximus, he is coming to attack you on your home front and he won't stop until you're all dead.... including ...... including.. Jaur..... I need you guys to leave us, leave Alianna and i .... and never return".

The look in her eyes screamed fear and i understand why she was scared but what she requested was madness, i will never leave Alianna with them, never!

" I can't promise you that Rose"... i said looking back into her eyes and the sadness quickly gathered in them, she was serious when she said:

"Then get ready to die"
