Maximus pov

As we entered our home our parents were in the living room reading. They paused as we entered.

Shaemus: 'you've return'.... he spoke.

We nod simultaneously.

Elizabeth: 'Lets not discuss here'

Jauree: 'to the vampire lair'!..... shouted Jauree striking a super hero pose.

We all halted and stared at him.... realizing the awkwardness he slowly came out the pose embarrassingly and hung his head....then we continued.

When we got to the basement we all sat in the same position as earlier, which was the same as we did since our existence.

Shaemus: 'report'.... he ordered.

Jauree: the most I found out is that there are some new student who started attending the evening program at school and they supposedly super cute...he spoke in a girly voice mockingly.

Our father chuckled... but then he was serious again.

Shaemus: 'I wonder why the evening program?'.... he said seriously while his face broke in a smile knowingly and we all started smiling as well because they could only be one reason: Vampire.

Million: 'another thing that was weird was we never saw the host of the party'..... spoke Million.

We all started frowning.

Elizabeth: 'that could only mean one thing'---- ....mom began but dad finish for her:

'that's their home'.... he said.

Jauree: 'a vampire never reveals his home to stranger... why would they be so stupid'? .... Jauree asked.

Million : 'for the food to come to them instead of them hunting maybe'....Million answered.

Father started deep thinking as he knitted his brows.......... then he spoke:

'They didn't know of us so there was no need for secrecy, there was no threat and they wouldn't be afraid of a bunch of humans....they probably thought the area was clean of Vampires '

Million: 'am by us attending the party'---

Jauree: 'they now know they are not alone'.... Jauree concluded.

Elizabeth: 'which could also be why they remain hidden'....mother said.

Million: 'why didn't we smell them though?'.... Million asked.

Shaemus: 'maybe there is a witch involve'....answered Father.

Our eyes were widen in realization.... the witch had mask their scent!

Maximus: 'if they have a witch working with them we're done for:..... I mumbled.

Witches were extremely powerful and when a Vampire teams up with a witch, they are unstoppable, they having a witch on their side has suddenly tip the scale in their favor.

Jauree: 'Isn't a witch suppose to be neutral?'..... he asked.

Shaemus: 'yes....and she probably is but forced.....
..who knows...........try and find them at school..... and seek out the witch as well..... maybe we can convince her to join us'.

Million: 'if she hasn't been corrupted by them already '...Million mutter.

Shaemus: 'well nothing try; nothing gets done'.

We nod in agreement, it was then I noted mother staring at me.

Elizabeth: son....are you OK?.... you've been awfully quiet....she asked.

Which is true. .. I am usually the one who is the most focus. Million was the wild one and Jauree was the naive, I was the glue to keeping us together, the level headed one, I usually leads the investigation but I had no input because I was..... distracted. How do I tell them I fucked up the investigation because I was out the back kissing a girl? They'd never see me the same anymore. Fuck Alianna! One night and I am swooning like a high school girl on a crush.... I fucking hate this shit!..... I realize everyone was Staring at me:

'I gotta go.... excuse me parents'.... and without waiting for they're approval I was out and in my room in mere seconds.
