CHAPTER 23- LAUGHTER

Kira's POV

"Listen Kira, they liked each other. We must let them figure things out." Luke said, as we were waiting for Pia and Threat at the Cafeteria.

"No, you're kidding me!" I shake my head. "We can't force them. We know that they hated each other. And Pia will hate me, I mean us if we do that." Vanessa shake her head.

"Kira please.. It's not about us. It's about both of them." Vince interrupt.

I sighed. "We're not sure yet about what they feel." Kyle said.

"Yes! Kira and Kyle is right.  I agree with them." Rain said.

Me and Kyle nodded. While three of them shook their heads. "Okay. If that's what you all want." Luke said raising his both hands in surrender. And that's the time Threat enter giving us questioning look, while Kyle changed the topic, as Vince laughed followed by everyone. Leaving Threat with confusion.

I smiled at the memories. Now I know the reason why Threat requested Pia to sing, and why he always make her hate him. Because he wanted Pia's attention.

The all of the gang's right. I sighed. Here I am at the school library, trying to study but I can't concentrate. How can I concentrate if I'm thinking about the two people bothering my mind?

And that's the time Rain, Vince and Kyle enter at the library, giving me a smile and a kissed on the cheeks. After that, they pull their chair and sit.

I smiled at them. "Hi! Where's everyone?" I asked, Vince and Kyle shrugged.

I throw my boyfriend a questioning look. "I don't have an idea babe. I just bumped with these guys, when I headed here." He said, pointing at Vince and Kyle.

Suddenly, Kyle laughed loudly. I smirked. Weird what's gotten into him? He continue to laughed but he stopped when the librarian started to talk angrily. "Excuse me, This is a Library not a Bar. So better be quiet or you get out.!" She stated while pointing at the entrance door.

Everyone at the Library looked Kyle angrily. He just shook his head still hiding his laughter. The three of us on the other hand, throwing him a questioning look but, hiding our laughter because of the librarian funny words.

"Oh.. Come on guys, that's funny! Stop hiding your laughter." Kyle muttered. I bit my lips to hold my laughter back. Kyle was really a happy guy! He always laughed without any reason.

Rain looked at me grinning, while Vince snorted. Now, everyone in the library, throw as again a angry look.

"Hey stop that Rain! Stop making noise!" Vince lied. We know that he's making noise. I just shake my head, Kyle and Vince are just grinning.

My boyfriend on the other hand scoffed. "Hey! I didn't make any noise." He said, raising his both hands in surrender. I rolled my eyes at both guy who's grinning, in the other hand, holding my laughter. Rain looked at me like he wanted me to defend him. Instead, I just grinned at him.

In time, Vanessa, Blair and Luke approached pulling a chair then, we greeted each other. Suddenly Luke started to talked. "Told you guys. Threat liked Sophie and Sophie liked Threat! Vanessa saw Sophie at the party and she was jealous, when Amara kissed him." Everyone was shocked. Vanessa nod full of sincerity.

"Oh my God! How about Amara? She likes Threat. Amara's a bitch!" Blair muttered. Vanessa sighed.

"Believe me, Amara's not his type." Kyle whisper, making sure no one's gonna hear us.

"Wait, speaking of Threat and Sophie, where are they?" Vince said.

We all sighed. As we all leaned our elbows at the table, our hands at our Jaw. Then we all shook our heads. Falling through deep thoughts.

----Sophia's POV----

I woke up full of confusion, eating breakfast still confused, and now, here inside our School still confused.

I need to find some answers.

I need some explanation.

I need to know the truth.

I need to find him.

I was searching for him everywhere. He's nowhere to find. Last hope, at the field. I sighed then started to run rushing through the field. I stopped, catching my breath.

Inhale..

Exhale..

Inhale..

Exhale..

He's not at the bleachers. I sighed, then started to walk through the place where I rest, when I wanted to be alone. Behind the tree.

I was getting closer, when I heard a familiar voice. He's singing. I tiptoed so that he wont notice me. I placed at the other side of the tree, sneaking at him. He's humming a song, I don't know. I didn't know his voice are good and nice to hear.

Wait, what am I going to do?

I sighed once again. Before I could say a word he already talked. "Are you stalking me?" My eyes widen, I walked standing in front of him, he's still sitting. I sat beside him not intend to look at him, feeling awkward.

"Well?" He interrupt.

"I- uhm, wanted to know why you requested me sing at our Senior Party?" I muttered.

We still not looking each other. "I like your voice that is all." he said, and I nodded.

Silence...

"Sophie?"

"Yes?"

"Are we friends now? I- I mean are we okay now?" He said nervously.

I started to play with my fingers. "I don't know." I muttered

he sighed.

Silence...

"But we can start all over again." I muttered and He looked at me, but I shook my head.

He chuckled. "Okay. Maybe that's better! Hi my name Threat Adams may I know yours?" I looked at him and giggled.

"What's funny?" He muttered. I chuckled again.

I scoffed. "Nothing. Okay hi! I'm Sophia Kaye Mendez. Friends?" I said, and gesture my right hand. "Friends" He said as he accepted my hand.

After that, we both laughed. Didn't mind that we have a class.
