Sophia's POV
I'm at our English class. Beside me was the man I hated all my life. Yeah always. Today would be our debate Me and this Jackass beside me.
I guessed were really meant as Enemies. Were enemy in all things,
We hated each others guts.
I turned my looks at the person beside me. I smirked, the Jerk is looking at me intensely. I didn't notice that.
I raised my brow at him. "What are you looking at?"
he averted his eyes at his notes. "Me? Looking at you?" He smirked. "Pathetic."
"Why so defensive?" I said in uninterested tone. Looking at my notes too. "Stupid!"
I heard him smirked again.
"No I'm not!"
"Yes you are. Idiot!"
"What did you say?" He said in angry tone.
"Oh that? Never mind. I'm sure you're not interested." I chuckled.
"Spit it out. I'm interested! Say it through my face."
I let out a false yawn. "I won't talk, you know it's just a waste of saliva. Especially talking to someone like you." I said softly.
"I said spit it out! Fuck!" Now he's really mad.
I saw our teacher averted her eyes at him, with shocked all over her face. But he didn't notice it, because he's looking at me. I just chuckled and shook my head, focusing on my notes. Then, I heard Ms. Sanchez talked.
"Threat Adams. Why are you shouting? Are you insulting your teacher?" I'm still hiding my laughter.
"Uhmm.. No Ms."
I shrugged. "Yes you are!" I winked at him.
"No I'm not! Stupid!"
"Yes! Liar!
"NO!"
"YES, I HEARD IT!"
"you're the LIAR!"
I groaned in frustration. Then our teacher shouted.
"SHUT IT! The debate is not yet started, but since the two of you wanted to start now, the two of you may go first."
We both gasped. Oh my gosh. I looked at my teacher she's really serious. Our classmates our looking at us. Now we're the center of attraction. Kira gave me a questioning look and I just sighed.
"B-but Ms.-"
I was cut because she intrude. "I said start now. Read you're topic then defend."
I turned to face the Jerk, he's grinning at me, I smirked at him then we both stand and walk placing at the front of every one. Our teacher sat on her table waiting for us to talk. I turned to face the board and wrote our topic there. After that, I turned back to face everyone.

Do think Love can affect studies?
AGREE OR DISAGREE?
Our classmates looked amused. Yes I know it's because of our topic. I know it's weird. I faced my opponent. He winked I raised my brows at him.
I sighed then, started to talk. "I agreed. In what way?" I posed. "In a way that you couldn't focus on your studies because the only thing you have in your mind, was only the person you're in love with."
Everyone gasped. I heard my opponent smirked. Now it's his turn.
"I disagree. Ladies in gentle men, Everyone deserves to love and to be Loved. LOVE, encourage, and to inspires every students to study hard."
I saw my everybody nod especially our teacher. He's very convincing but I wont let this happen. I have to won. I'm going to won. He mouthed at me like he says "Loser".
"No it's not true! It can affect each and everyone's studies. It will ruin you're grades and everything."
Everyone's in silence. Then he started to talk again.
"May I asked you one question Ms. Mendez, have you ever been in love? If yes, then prove what you're believing."
I smirked. Our teacher and classmates and eyes were focused on the Jerk when he talk, then to mine, then back with him again.
I smirked. "I can prove it! And I will prove it."
"Not everyone are like you Ms. Mendez."
"And so you are Mr. Adams"
"No! You're wrong don't you notice that everyone in this room Agreed in what I believe? Because they're like me. Kira and Rain too. Don't you notice that? or you're just being BITTER?"
I gasped. I noticed that but this is debate. I'm sure they're making fun of me. I'm not bitter I'm just defending my part.
"Now, you're too personal Mr. Adams. I'm just defending my part."
He stepped closer to me. I averted my eyes at the front of me. I saw some familiar person. My friends
"Look I'm sorry if you're offended. But I'm defending my part too."
Everyone nodded. Then our teacher step closer placing in front of my opponent giving us a hand.
"Good Job guys but, the decisions are at the hand of your classmates. Now you can choose whoever answers are convincing." Ms. Sanchez gave me a smile.
I faced at the Jerk. He raised his voice at me then I rolled my eyes at him. He chuckled.
Now the results are already at our teachers hand and I sighed. When I heard who won, I looked like weak. You know why? Because this is the first time I loose I was defeated by this stupid Jerk. Even in debate I always won. But not anymore.
The Jerk stepped closer at me, gesturing his right hand. I accepted his hand, then we shake. I gave him a fake smile then he grinned. Everyone's cheering for him.
We sat back at our chair without making a word. I saw someone giving me a smile like making me fine and calm. While I heard a girl talking some bad thing about me. She sat at front of me she sat beside Vanessa. I don't know her name.
She's murmuring something like, "She's stupid, she don't know what she's saying. Pathetic!"
I shook my head. I didn't intend to listen. Someone, tapped my hand I lift my head and saw Vanessa, Luke Kira and Rain standing at front of me giving me a smile.
I didn't noticed the class has ended. Rain explain that Vince, Kyle and the Jerk already went outside, they grab some food.
I nod at them, and started to put all my stuffs at my bag then went out. My mind's still thinking about the girl a while ago.
Seriously who is she?
Why does she hated me?
