This is a flashback of what Jessica remembers from five years ago... but its very faint from her minds natural habit of blocking out the pain. This is what it all started with, her dad dying, which led to where they were today.
"Jessica" her dad said weakly from the hospital bed.
"Yes, daddy. I'm right here and I'm not parting from you." Jessica reassured her dad.
"The disease is getting worse by the second I don't have very long. Can you promise me something?"
"Sure, anything. Please don't leave me daddy. Please don't!" at that point Jessica was screaming helplessly at the top of her lungs.
"I have gotten into some lies lately. But please don't make yourself believe that I am a bad man. You need to protect yourself and mom. Never lie, have faith, and stay true to yourself" on that note, Jessica's dad nodded off and the hospital machines went bizarre. Jessica sat beside her dad never letting go of his hand until the doctors demanded to take him away.
This was the most depressing and sad day for her and her mother and they hate to look back at it. But they're only in a bad situation today because they broke there promise. But who's fault was that? Certainly not there dads, only theres, and they are aware of it.
