The next day Jessica and her family had all of their stuff packed and were ready to move. They loaded all of their necessities and went on their way. They had to move a couple of states away to ensure Bert's cover, but it was all good once they got there and settled in.
Bert, Ally, and Jessica now lived in an apartment. It was cheaper and wasn't too much to take care of. It was also rented, which Bert insisted on because he knew, and Ally was also aware of, that some day they would have to move again. "As long as Jessica and I are safe, we don't talk to anyone, and we stay on Bert's good side we'll be alright." is what Ally's view on the situation was.
They made it through the night and managed to unpack everything the day before. Today was the day that they looked for jobs and Jessica's high school.
"I don't have to go to school. It would be safer and, and, less hassle!"
"You have to go to school. Don't worry, in two more years you'll be in college and won't have to worry about these lies, you'll have your own life." Ally could only try to convince Jessica.
"Yah, you wish." she replied sarcastically. Jessica wan't looking forward to these two years just the years after the fact.
Jessica and her mom set out on their journey to find her high school fist. They found one where the bus comes to pick her up and drop her off at the apatment. They also had a high graduation rate and a good SOL average, but Jessica wasn't excited.
After that, they went to look for Ally's job. She found a job at an insurance company and their pay would do for now. Se filled out the application and submitted it. A call would come tomorrow.
The next day, Ally got a call telling her that she started tomorrow and Jessica went to her new school. But just as they settled in, tragedy struck again.
