It was another gloomy day.  It made it even gloomier because yesterday was the day they found out the truth.  Today was Jessica's day to go to school because she didn't go yesterday.  And as always she walked there in the rain with her head held down.  But luckily she didn't have to drag her foot because it had recovered.

She was actually on time for school because Bert had pushed her to get out of the house.  Jessica soon hated Bert because he was changing things around their family.  He said he was going to make her go to school everyday from now on.  He was acting like her dad.  Jessica was furiated.  "Bert just can't walk into our family and change things, that's not his place."  Jessica thought to herself.  "He was the one who made me ashamed to go to school.  He always told us to never slip the truth and now i am afraid to talk to anyone.  I don't want to cause my mother the trouble just because my words slipped.  What else can I do?  I've been trying to hide in the corner and not approach anyone, but its difficult."  Soon Jessica was pouring her feelings to herself in the corner she was sitting in.  She went to the bathroom to cool down and got her mind set again to school.  After she returned to class she tried to stay focused on the teacher and not think about Bert because it would make her upset.  Surprisingly Jessica thought the day went by fast and it was soon time to go home.  This was the first time in awhile that she had listened and she was exhausted.  Jessica didn't feel like walking home so she lived it up and took the bus not caring about the smirks in the back.

Once she got home, Bert and her mother broke huge news to her.

"We need to talk to to you this instance."  They both said strictly.

"Someone has gotten a hint of your father and it was too close this time, we need to move."

"Wow, you really screwed us up Bert and for the record you're not my dad and never will be." Jessica was on a rage.

"We pack tomorrow and leave as soon as possible.  We are all in danger if we don't move, so loose the attitude and get started."

On that note, Jessica stormed up to her room and started to pack.
