"Julia! Please come back!" a man with pitch black hair and looked to be in about his twenties, yelled to a girl with short blonde hair whose eyes eyes seemed to be a glowing hazel. She had been crying.

"No! How could you go behind my back and do that? It causes nothing but trouble!" she cried.

It was thundering and rain fell hard to the ground. It was hard to make out what they were saying, but I eventually got close enough.

"I was doing it to help you! You are ill
, my love. Everyone can see it. It kills me seeing you like this...please." he pleaded walking closer but being careful of how close he was.

"What were you planning to do?" she sniffed.

It looked that at any minute she would collapse.

"I am making a medicine that will help you get better." he stepped closer to her and held her hands. "You will go back to normal, it will just take time."

"How long?" she wondered.

"Nothing can happen in a blink of an eye or with just a snap of fingers, my love." he gave her a small smile.

"Do not get to deep into this, alright Aden?" Julia, said. I could see her using all her strength to tighten her grip on Aden. "If it does not work the first time, promise me you will not try again." she stated firmly.

He looked to be having a debate with himself.

"I will not just let yo-"

"Promise me!" she said louder, cutting him off.

He sighed, defeated that he could not have won this.

"I promise, Jules" he said while raising her hands to his lips and placing a lingering kiss on her knuckles.

Everything started to slowly fade after that. Everything became black and I could not hear anything around me.

"It is just amazing to see you again, Ms. Scarlett James." a low voice said.

I only meant to scare her into telling me the truth. I had no intention of putting that much nylic into her veins. My anger got in the way, and I feel, only the slightest bit, terrible. It was only supposed to block her eyesight, but it shut down her entire system. Nylic has many sides to it. It can block eyesight, show the person what I want them to see, pulse venom into their veins, pull out the iron in their blood. It can make them lose their voice, break a bone if I would like, or Death. I can control whichever one I wanted against whoever I wanted.

She is still breathing but very lightly. She has been out for two days and I am very surprised no has has come to check on her.

After she fell, I felt bad for wanting to leave her on the floor, so I pick her up and laid her down...gently on her bed and covered her up. I look at her now and I can not help but study every aspect of her face. Still so beautiful.

Her skin had turned a glowing white the first night of the nylic being in her. I was afraid I had killed her, that was until I saw her eyes moving under her eyelids. I took a step closer to her bed and crouched beside her. She started to mumble things that I could not quite make out.
She started to say things a little more clearly, but the one that caught my attention was when she stopped talking and said one thing only.

"Jared."

My fists tightened once I heard his name. He is invading her mind, her dream, and now turning it into a nightmare.
