~Scarlett~

His name. It seems so...familiar? It is a common name, so that must be why it seems familiar.

I could not take my eyes off his burning red ones. They scared me so so much.

"Now, I am going to ask you a question and you are going to answer it immediately." He demanded.

I nodded my head quickly.

"Why are you in my house?" He said angrily.

At that question, my mind went blank. I could not think of answer. Since I can remember, I have always lived here. Even my great great grandparents have lived here.

"I said immediately, did I not?" He growled.

"I- uh. I have always lived here." Not the answer he wanted.

Before I could explain further, I was shoved against a wall and my breathing short.

"Now,Darling, give me the truth." He said as e emphasized truth.

When I didn't answer, his forearm pressed harder against my throat.

"Answer me, NOW!" Lucas yelled.

"I-I have always lived here. I swear. My family line has lived in this house for almost a hundred years." I choked trying to get any breath in my lungs I could capture.

He seemed to understand that I was telling the truth because he let out a growl, pressed harder one good time against my throat and let me drop to the floor.

"Are you sure?" He said sounding irritated.

"Since I can recall, yes." I whisper not wanting to make him angrier.

"Speak up." He said louder.

"Yes." I spoke.

"Well, Scarlett, that is your name right? Well, this is my house, and if you are living in it, there are going to be some rules." Lucas stated.

I was speechless. Who does he think he is?

"Who do you think you are, walking into my home and harassing me and telling me that this is YOUR home?" I practically yelled.

At that exact moment, my Mother bursts into my room.

"Scarlett, what in gods name are you doing up? And who are you yelling at?" She says outraged.

"Him!" I yelled as I pointed to Lucas.

"Quit yelling! No one is there, Scarlett." She said tiredly.

"Yes, Mother! He is right there!" I cried throwing both my hands in Lucas' direction.

I looked at him and he smirked at me.

"Scarlett, I am done with these games. Go to bed, please." She sighed dramatically and shut the door.

"She is not be able to see me, Darling." He grinned.

"How? I cane see you right in front of me!"

"I do not know but I do intend on making the best of it." He smirked.

In just three strides, he was in front of me.

"I plan to make your life a living hell, Darling." He whispered tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Get some rest. You'll need it." He smirked and in a blink of an eye, he was gone.

She had to be lying. She had to be. That girl is not her and will never be. She will pay for lying to me.

Being in this house again, brings back so many forgotten memories.
I grew up here alongside Sarah, and just because Scarlett lives here, does not mean I still can't take the house back. I know what I'm capable of and I'm willing to do whatever it takes.

She will not get in my way. Not this time. It may have hurt me back then, but not this time.
