I continued to work and practice. I learned the third form (kata) before the second due to higher ranking students. That prepared me for my orange belt. I learned more techniques, became stronger, and grew more confident. Later, I tested for my orange belt. Next class, I got my belt and certificate. I learned more orange belt techniques, and continued to work on my form (kata). I had many friends who moved up to the advanced class since they were older. I was now 11 and able to move up whenever I was ready. I didn't feel comfortable doing it without Sensei's permission. Finally, I got his permission and moved up to the tougher class.
