Chapter 8
His green eyes were still fixed on me, not blinking for even a second. Anger was evident on every inch of his face; I felt like he would rip my head apart from my body any second. I gulped and planned to run out of the door before he could do anything. He took in a deep breath and was about to open his mouth when I quickly pivoted and ran to the door, pulling on the handle.
"I don't think so," he grumbled.
As soon as I flung the door open it was slammed shut, almost trapping my hand in the process. Tyler roughly turned me around and pushed me against the wall like I was a rag doll. He pounded his fists on either side of my head and brought his face closer to mine, glowering at me.
"How dare you?" he growled at me, fastening my heartbeat. When I gave no response he gripped my wrists and shook me severely, making me snivel under his strength.
He then shoved me away, causing me to bang my back on the wall and punched his fist into the wall frustratedly. "Who the fuck do you think you are?" he bellowed right into my ear, this time sounding a lot angrier. I was so afraid that I couldn't process my words, there was no escape this time.
I knew exactly what Tyler was capable of doing and it frightened me because this time he seemed more furious than ever before.
A lump formed in my throat and I tried to swallow but the thought of Tyler watching me was too intimidating for me to do anything. I could sense his gaze still on me and was heavily breathing, preparing for what he might do. Tyler's eyes flickered down to my heaving chest and after noticing this, I quickly pulled my breath in and crossed my arms over my chest. I looked at him without making eye contact and he ran a hand through his hair, narrowing his eyes at me.
"Are you afraid?" he whispered and even though he could clearly see I was, I wouldn't admit to it.
"No," I squeaked nervously.
"I don't believe you," he replied.
"I'm not scared," I said, this time with a little more courage. He tilted my chin up so I was looking at him however I still didn't make eye contact.
"Look into my eyes and tell me I don't scare you."
I sniffled and looked down, wringing my fingers. I looked back up and met his terrifying gaze, unable to speak. "I can't," I replied in barely a whisper. It was true; in that moment, I was truly afraid that he would do something he'd later regret.
He forcefully pressed his chest into mine and held my hips tightly, making me whimper. I shut my eyes as he brought his hands down to my thighs but then he slid his hands into my pockets. My eyes shot open since I wasn't expecting that but by then, a grin was plastered over his face as he dangled my car keys infront of me.
"Let's go baby girl," he said, lightly smacking my butt. My mouth was left agape as he walked out, leaving me wondering what the hell had just happened.
One minute he seemed so vicious and the next he was back to teasing me like always. I was still stood against the wall when I heard the car horn beeping so I raced down and shot out of the door.

We were five minutes away from the park and I hadn't uttered a word. I had switched on the radio to break the silence but in reality I was impatient to ask why he didn't do anything. I built up the courage and turned Demons down, shifting my body so I was facing Tyler.
