The Proposal

Clarys POV

It was around midnight and she couldn't find Jace anywhere. She checked the whole entire Institute and still couldn't find him. She asked Maryse and Alec so she just needed to ask Izzy. If Izzy didn't know she was gonna activate freak out mode. So she entered Izzy's room and saw Izzy at her vanity doing her make up.

"Hey Izzy have you seen Jace?" She asked and saw Izzy smile in the mirror. Then Izzy's face went neutral.

"Nope haven't seen him all day." Izzy said and Clary felt like she was about to start balling. "Maybe he's in the Greenhouse did you check there? He has been spending a lot of time there recently." Izzy said.

"No I didn't I'll go check. Thanks Izzy!" She said leaving.

"No problem, and don't scream!" Izzy said which was really weird. So she sprinted to the greenhouse when she got there it was pitch black.

"Jace?" She asked into the darkness. Then fairy lights lighted up all of the greenhouse. Revealing a candle lit pathway. The path looked pretty long but, she still followed it. Eventually she got to the back of the greenhouse which had an amazing view, and Jace being there made it 10 times better. Jace's hair was combed back she was wearing an all black tux.

"Hey Clare-bear." Jace said smirking.

"Your lucky you're cute." She said giggling when Jace offered her his hand. He then led her to a table for two with a candle lit in the middle. Jace then pulled out one chair for her and pushed her in. "Why thank you kind sir." She said smiling.

"It was my pleasure." He said smiling and took her hand and kissed her knuckles. Then someone cleared their throat.

"My name is Simon and I will be your waiter today." Simon said and handed them menu's. The only thing on them was spaghetti.

"I have a question." She said turning to Simon.

"Yes madame." He said trying to go into a french accent but, failed. Then he yelped out and grabbed his shin while Jace had a satisfied look.

"Did Izzy make the spaghetti?" She asked laughing a bit.

"No I would never want her to poison you madame although I wouldn't mind the boy." Simon said joking around. She couldn't help but laugh. Jace just glared at Simon.

"I think I'll get spaghetti." Jace said looking up from the menu.

"Make that two please." She said looking at Simon.

"What would you like for a beverage?" Simon asked.

"I'll have a Coca-Cola." Jace said handing Simon his menu.

"I'll just have some water." She said and gave Simon her menu.

"Ok they will be ready in 20 minutes. Thank you for dinning at Simons amazing most awesomest restaurant ever!" Simon said and walked away.

"So Jace." She said.

"Yes my love." Jace said taking her hand from across the table and playing with her fingers.

"I have two questions. Did I forget an important date and how much did you pay Simon?" She asked laughing at the second question.

"No, you did not forget anything. As for your second question he did not get paid in dollars, he got paid in knowledge." Jace said smirking.

"What knowledge?" She asked.

"The knowledge of Izzy." He said smirking.

"I wish I never asked." She said and they both laughed. They talked and ate so much. At 11:59 pm Jace got up and got her to stand up too.

"Clary the minute I layed eyes on you at Pandemonium I knew you would be the best thing that ever happened to me. You changed me and taught me lessons that no one else could teach me. The biggest one is that you taught me to love. I always thought to love is to destroy then you taught me that love doesn't destroy you, it makes you stronger. That's why I wanna be as strong as I can be and let the whole entire world know that you are my one true love. Clarissa Fray will you do the honor of making me the luckiest boy in the world and marry me?" He asked getting down on one knee at the end and showing her a ring. There was an F and an H combine.

"I'd love to Jace. I love you!" She said and tackled him in a hug causing her to lie on top of him and Jace have the biggest smile in the world.

"I love you too Clary." Jace said and they kissed they must have kissed for a while. They were kissing until someone cleared their throat. They looked over and saw Simon standing there.

"I was wondering if you would like desert." Simon said.

"What are our options?" Jace asked getting up while slipping her ring on her ring finger.

"Brownies." Simon said smiling.

"We'll have 2." Jace said and wrapped her hands around her waist. She giggled at this.

"We are out of brownies." Simon said and walked away. Jace and her both just laughed when slow music started to play. They laughed even more and slow danced together. All that night she was trying to ignore the flash that would sometimes go off.
