Alec's POV
He was training with Jace in the institute. While he was training and about to "stab" Jace someone yelled.
"CLARY!" Jace was out of the room like a bullet. When he came to where everyone was he saw Clary drawing something.
"What happened?" He asked not understanding.
"Clary thought of a new rune." Izzy said looking down at Jace and Clary whispering.
"What is it?" He asked.
"I don't know." She said not looking at him.
TIME SKIP TO MALECS WEDDING RECEPTION
(Still Alec's POV)
He was sitting at the table with Magnus and they were both smiling when Clary walked in front of them.
"Hi Biscuit what's up?" Magnus said not being his normal self since Magnus was too happy.
"So you know when I made that tune a week ago. Well the rune is an immortality rune." Clary said smiling at both of them.
"Wait so I can like together with Magnus. And I will die like Warlocks?" He questioned not believing it.
"Yep." Clary said practically bouncing on her feet and Jace walked over to Clary.
"I'll get it under one condition. Izzy, Simon, Jace, and you get it too." He said and looked at their reactions and they were shocked.
"What why?" Jace asked confused.
"Even though I can't live without Magnus. I can't deal with watching my friends and sister die and going on like nothing happened." He said.
"Ok then. I guess we are all going to be immortal." Clary said.
"Yea but I'm not gonna be hunting all that time." He said and they all laughed.
