No white tonight

Jace's POV
Izzy, Alec, Simon, Clary, and him were going on their traditional Sunday night hunt. There has been a lot of demon activity so they all brought like 20 weapons. He was with Alec while Izzy and Clary were in a group. Simon was at their "base" observing a hunt since he was recently ascended. He was just really nervous because this is his and Clarys first hunt away from eachother. Alec and him were looking at an area when a scream. It was Clarys.

"CLARY!" He yelled running to where he heard the scream with Alec chasing after him. He finally found them and saw Clary on the ground and Izzy holding off two Mantid demons.

"Alec help me! Jace take Clary to Magnus." Izzy yelled whipping one of the demons. They ran to do what they were told. He looked and saw Clary had a sword through her gut.

"Clare." He said and took out his stele.

"Jace?" She asked looking at him.

"Right here. I'm right here." He said and slowly took out the sword. She screamed out in pain causing the most pain he could ever imagine then multiplied by 10. "Clary shh it's gonna be alright."

"It hurts!" She yelled. He then started drawing tons of healing runes on her. Then a blood loss and one to numb the pain that she made. He then saw the birth control rune on her stomach and smirked. "What's so funny?" She asked getting her breathing steady.

"That." He said tracing the rune and she laughed then started coughing up blood.

"Jace I think there was poison." She said wincing.

"No no no no no no no." He kept mummering over and over again. "Alec! Call Magnus." He yelled behind him and thankfully Alec and Izzy killed the Mantid demons.

"Jace you were supposed to take her!" Izzy yelled.

"I couldn't it would have caused her too much pain!" He said right as a portal opened up and Magnus came out and Alec hung up.

"What? Alec told me he found a place where we wouldn't be bothered doing anything at all." Magnus said confused while Alec blushed.

"Clarys hurt badly and we need your help." Izzy explained motioning over to him over Clary holding her hand and at that she yelled in pain and passed out probably from blood loss which means the blood loss rune faded.

"Magnus heal her or I will murder you!" He told him in a voice not even the dumbest person in the world would say no to.

"Ok ok. Back away while I do my magic." Magnus said stepping up with Alec gasped and he looked and saw Magnus' fingers waving and magic coming off of them. He just chose to ignore it. He got up after kissing Clary and walked over to his parabatai.

"You alright Alec?" He asked as Alec was holding in a breath.

"Never better." He then groaned. They all just stood there for 5 minutes looking at what Magnus was doing.

"Almost done Magnus?" He asked. Magnus didn't respond for a few seconds and got up.

"I'm sorry Jace." Magnus said shaking his head.

"What? No!" He said running over to Clary and taking her pulse. Nothing.

"I could have saved her if that sword wasn't taken out." Magnus said walking over to Alec.

"This is all my fault. Clary! Please don't leave me I love you I can't imagine my life with out you please!" He said and he actually started crying. Jace Herondale was crying. When suddenly he was being hugged by someone.

"It's alright Jace I'm right here!" Clary said. Wait Clary!

"Clary?" He said pulling away from the hug. And saw her. He then just kissed her. They kissed for like 5 minutes and pulled away.

"Relax It's alright." She said laughing.

"You were dead!" Jace yelled standing up and looking for Magnus.

"She never was I healed her. Your welcome. I just cast a spell so you couldn't feel her pulse for like 5 minutes. But relax she is alive. I just wanted to have some fun." Magnus said smirking and Alec burst out laughing.

"Clary don't you ever do that again!" He said pulling her into a huge hug.

"Don't worry everything is fine." She said burying her head in his chest. He was just thinking one thing: Magnus is going to pay.
