This Is Not Poetry

An Author's Note in the Disguise of Poetry

The book, my friend,
Has come to an end.
Though it was short,
I'm glad you decided to attend.

I've honestly been inspired,
By the support that has transpired,
And though I really feel admired,
I must admit this book shall be retired.

First of all,
I'd like to thank in whole,
A very special reader,
Who's name is that_soul
You always are encouraging,
Making my day a bit more flourishing,
And I have to say you are the best,
When it comes to an emoji-face test ;)
(^~(^-^)~^)

Now comes someone who likes a certain type of fowl,
Who has never replied to my lame rhymes with a scowl,
The amazing one and only, Author_owl.

Next is bfregal,
The one who creates such outstanding plots,
It should be illegal,
But illegal in a good way,
And I ran out of rhymes to say,
So randomly I'll just write: seagull

Then there's the one who loves Doctor Who,
And when it comes to other fandoms,
We got that in common too.
I'm glad they decided to be a part of this,
Lots o' thanks go out towards StormieDawnOfTARDIS

Thanks for being supportive on my story and through chat,
It's really cool to have an internet friend like that :)

And last not but not least,
There's smartieyum,
I'm happy you liked it,
I'm glad you could come,
Especially since my rhymes,
Sound like they were written by a bum :p

I'm sorry my rhymes were cheesy,
But your usernames aren't very easy,
And though this poem was a bit hard,
I hold all my followers and readers in the highest regard.

Now leave this book,
Being reminded sarcastically,
That through all that effort it really took,
This is still not poetry!
