"I don't want to go."
"But Alli- "
"No." I cut her off, glaring up at the brunette girl standing in front of me.
She sighed, her bottem lip coming out in a pout as her honey brown eyes looked back at my dark brown ones.
I sighed knowing exactly what she was doing.
"Ellie, put the pout away and lose the puppy dog eyes. I. Am. Not. Going." I stated putting my attention back on the laptop resting on my lap.
"But Alli, you-"
"Look Ellie," My eyes once again looking up at her, "I have a World Religion exam on Wednesday and I have to study and I- "
"Wait." Ellie cuts me off. "You just said your exam was on Wednesday?" Her eyes becoming small slits as she narrowed them at me.
"Yeah. So?" . I hope she can hear the boredom in my voice.
"Allison, it's Friday."
"Yes Ellie, I am aware of what day it is." I state sarcastically, my eyes resting once again on my laptop screen.
"Are you also aware of what a buzz kill you're being?" She grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest. "Excuse me ?" My eyes dart back up at her.
"Yes Alli. You, my friend, are being a buzz kill. You're seriously going to stay home on a Friday night and study for an exam that is nearly a week away!?" She threw her hands in the air letting them fall to her sides as absolutely dramatically as she could.
I shook my head. "I don't have time for this." I adjusted the glasses on my face trying my best to focus on the work in front of me.
"Alli!! Please!!"
I ignored her as I continued to type a bit harder than usual.
"I'm not leaving my best friend all by herself in this dorm on a Friday night. To study much less. Not happening."
I don't say anything.
Ellie then decides to plant her bum on the space next to me on my bed.
Just pretend she isn't here, Alli. She will eventually leave.
"I'm not leaving."
So she can read minds now.
I looked at her through my lashes, keeping my head slightly down.
Her pout returned, as did her puppy dog eyes. "Please..." She begs.
I rolled my eyes.
"Fine." I huff in defeat.
"Yes, yes, yes!!" Ellie jumps up from my bed, back on her feet, "Trust me when I say we are going to have all the fun tonight!"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." I get up, "Where are we even going?"
"The Night Club." She smiles.
Not The Night Club.
"Is there a problem?" Ellie raised her brow at me.
"Of course not." I smiled sweetly at her, sarcasm dripping from each word.
I hate The Night Club. It smells of sweat and old beer, the guys can't take no for an answer and the entertainment is always terrible.
"Good girl. Now put this on." A pair of light faded jeans are thrown in my direction. I quickly catch them before they hit my face.
I looked down remembering I actually wasn't wearing pants. Just an oversized Jersey of a team I could honestly care less about.
"I am not staying out all night." I said as I button my jeans.
Ellie ignored me as she hums going through the tops hanging in my closet.
"Ellie? Did you hear me?"
I heard a heavy sigh come from her before she turned her head slightly to look at me.
"Not staying out all night. Got it." She turned back around. "Dude, we need to take you shopping A.S.A.P. This wardrobe of yours is not working." She shakes her head disapprovenlly at my closet as I roll my eyes.
I take off my jersey, grabbing the white V-neck hanging off my desk chair, putting it on before Ellie turned around.
"It's just white?" She scoffed. She genuinely looked disgusted by me I almost wanted to laugh. Instead I ignore her as I slipped my feet into my Vans.
Walking to the mirror, I shake my head a bit, my long, dark, brown curls moving with every shake. Adjusting my glasses once more, I grabbed my cell phone sticking it into my back pocket and grabbing my keys, finally turning to Ellie.
"Let's get this over with.".__________
