"Well I highly doubt she has her eyes on you." I remarked bitterly looking down, taking my straw between my lips.
"Oh but on the contrary." He shook his head. "She has had her eyes on me all night."
I scoffed at him.
"Oh, Tom." I shook my head. I'm not sure we are speaking of the same girl anymore."
"Oh, no? And who do you presume I am speaking of?" The smirk on his face growing.
"Someone with no taste."
"Ouch," Tom's hand swung to his chest as if he were in pain. "that hurt babe. I'm wounded."
I rolled my eyes at the dramatic man next to me.
"Don't roll your eyes at me." His tone suddenly serious.
I almost laughed. "Or what?"
He chuckled, moving closer to me.
"Oh Allison.." He spoke slowly. "that is a dangerous question and I am not sure you are yet ready for the answer."
He was now dangerously close and I was paralyzed. I watched his lips, only inches away from mine, as each word rolled off his tongue.
Those pink sinful lips.
"It's not polite to stare."
I was quickly broken out of my trance, looking up to find green eyes already staring down at me. I could feel a familiar heat creep up my neck threatening to stain my cheeks. My ears were on fire.
With the slight buzz I was feeling and the annoyance building up, I was tempted to slap that smirk off his face.
I quickly shook the satisfying image if my hand colliding with Tom's right cheek. "Just get back to Ellie. Get back to Ellie." My subconscious kept chanting. "Before the liquor makes you numb to your senses." She added.
"You know," I finally spoke backing away from Tom's face, who made no effort to move. "It was lovely chatting with you or what ever the hell this was, but I have to go because.... well you see, I would rather be anywhere else." I smiled sweetly before getting up from my stool.
Tom only shook his head at me as he grinned, actually grinned at me. "Fair enough, darling."
I nodded once, as I began to walk to Ellie, taking my nearly empty glass with me.
Half way through the packed bodies that seem to never leave the dance floor, I was roughly yanked back by my waist, making me nearly drop my glass. My back collided with another body; a gasp falling from my lips.
"Dance with me Allison." He growled into my ear.
Hands connected to my waist, he quickly spun me around causing me to come face to face with the devil himself.
My conscious was now telling me to curse him out, but I surprised myself when the words, "Demanding tonight, aren't we?" left my lips instead. I could feel a smirk playing on my lips.
The liquor was taking over.
I could see the bit of shock spread across his face from my choice of words. But soon as it came it was gone, quickly covered up by a smirk of his own.
"Someone's playful, yeah?" The smile on his face was contagiousas I mirrored his actions.
"I can't dance." I yell over the music suddenly.
"I'll teach you." He said coolly into my ear taking my now empty glass and handing it to a dancing stranger who didn't even bother questioning it at all, dancing away with it.
His grip on my waist tightened,as I suddenly began moving quickly finding rythm. My hips moved with every beat of the song as I took control. Soon Tom was moving with me. His hands sliding down from my waist to my hips pulling me against him. I continued to move my hips in-sync with his. His hands found my lower back and tightened, pulling me even closer and I let out yet another gasp fall from my lips.
"I thought you couldn't dance." His voice was hoarse in my ear.
"I don't drink either." I said sweetly into his ear.____________________________________
