Ah, how I love Saturday. Lily and I told our peeps to come over whenever, so at 7:30 in the morning...

"L! WAAAAAKKKKKEEE UUUUUUPPPP!!"

"AHH!" I jumped so much that I fell out of bed. "WHAT THE FLUFF EMERY?! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!"

"Haha, sorry, I couldn't help it, you just looked so cute all snuggled up in bed like that..." She pinched my cheeks, as if I were some kind of child. I groaned and flopped back onto my bed.

"Weekends are meant for sleeping in," I grumbled, "so if you'll excuse me until about 12:30."

She grabbed my arm and dragged me onto the floor and into the living room, then she walked over to Lil's room and left me there. I heard the same screaming I'd woken up to in there. A few minutes later, Lily was also dragged out of her room.

"Em, when I said come whenever, I mostly meant any time after noon," Lil grunted.

"Well, you should've been more specific." replied Em with a laugh.

Lily groaned, got up, and made WAFFLES! OH YE$! I ate them in three seconds flat. Or so Lily says. Within a few hours, more guests began to arrive.

Corn got here first, equipped with a sleeping bag and a pillow. He bro-fisted me as he walked in, and we made our way to my room; Lily giving me a smile of approval. We walked in and Corn set down his stuff

"Dude! Tonight will be perfect for starting to work on our bet!" Corn observed.

I gasped, "Oh my gosh! You're right!" I yowled, "But who? Who? WHO???? Who shall I go for?"

"Okay, so who all are coming?" Corn questioned

"Lily will be here, my cousin Emery, May, Kendal, and Sky."

"Perfect," said Corn, with an evil cackle, "Plenty of options."

Sky arrived next, fist-bumping me as she walked through the front door. She was followed by Kendal, who didn't even look at me as she passed. She seemed very intent on staring at her feet, as if they were very interesting. May was last, and by the time she got to the door, I'd sped back to my room, leaving Corn behind.

"L, WAIT! DON'T LEAVE ME!" Corn screeched as he followed me to safety.

"Wazzup bro," I said as Corn entered the room.

"You left me," he wailed dramatically, "You left me out there to die you son of a biscuit!"

"It's not my fault you're so flippin slow."

"Well..." Corn stuttered, trying to think of a comeback, "Well, you could have waited."

"Wow Corn. Wow. That sucked."

"Thanks buddy."

"HEY L!" Lily came storming into my room. "YOU'RE STUPID. NOW MAKE ME SOME POPCORN!"

"What? No." I turned her down.

"BUT L!!!!!!" she whined.

"Make your own popcorn you dweeb." I retorted in annoyance.

"Well--- well YOU'RE THE DWEEB! YOU MAKE YOUR OWN POPCORN!" she shouted.

"Lil, you aren't making any sense. Go take a nap."

"I can't. I have guests to attend to. So, if you'll excuse me," she snorted as she stomped out the door.

Corn was just sitting on my bed, entertained.

"Anyway," he said, "I'm gonna go get some pretzels. I'll be back in like... I don't know." He walked out of my room, leaving me there all by myself. I assumed he would be flirting with everyone as much as he could before he got the pretzels, but I wasn't going to let him have a head start. I stood up and strutted out of my room.
