Later that , I was sitting on Emery's lap when Sky walked over to me.
"Hey L, tell Corn to leave me alone. He keeps TALKING to me!" she whined.
"Corn, be a potato." I ordered. Corn instantly sat on the floor and didn't move or make a sound. "Good potato."
Kendal was still ticked off with me, as usual so I decided to wait until she cooled off until I continued the bet. I wasn't even considering the other girls for the bet. Kendal was my bae to stay. Oh, YE$. After the door incident, my sister was fuming. She had walked right up to me and didn't hold back.
"What the fluff is wrong with you?" she screamed in my face.
"Several things. Why do you ask?" I questioned.
"BECAUSE YOU'RE AN IDIOT!" She screeched.
"Oh. Okay." I turned and walked away. I wandered into my room to find that it was empty. I wasn't even sure why I went in there in the first place so I went to the kitchen to get a Fruit Roll-Up.
As I ate the yummy snack I thought about Mac n' cheese. So then I made mac n' cheese. I wasn't hungry since we had just eaten, so I picked up the pot and went out into the living room and handed it to May.
"Here, Mutt. FOOD." I said as if I were talking to a dog instead of a goat.
"Um, I kinda need a fork. And an actual bowl, not just a stupid pot." She said like some kind of... (Pause for effect)... goat.
"Ha-myo?" I questioned.
"What?"
"EGG?" I repeated.
"Oh no thanks, I don't eat eggs." She said. She so stupid. She's like a... Goat.
"FOOL!" I said and pointed at her. I was so offended. I stomped away dramatically, adding an epic hair flip as I did so.
"What was that all about?" Corn questioned.
"She's grinching me out, bro." I explained grumpily.
"Okay..."
"Who's cooking something?"
"I made mac n' cheese. It was a waste of my time." I explained in annoyance.
"I like mac n' cheese." Corn stated with a smile.
"Yeah Hunny, we know." I reassured him sweetly.
"Hey L, can I talk to you for a sec?" Emery poked her head into the kitchen.
"Totes ma goats, bruh." I followed her into the hallway where it was quiet.
"So that girl Kendal, does she usually act like this?" she questioned.
"What do you mean?" I knew what she meant, I just didn't know the answer to her question (which rarely happens to me).
"She's really quiet and is acting all awkward and weird and stuff. She seems cool, but I feel like she's being shy."
"She's not shy, TRUST ME. Maybe she..." I thought hard about this, but I couldn't think of an explanation. "Okay look, I don't know what's up with her. She doesn't act like this when we're at school. She won't even look at me."
"She actually looks at you at school?"
"Well, don't look so surprised. It's possible for somebody to look at me... In a good way."
She just stared at me. Emery was awesome and everything, but at the moment, she wasn't helping our situation of Kendal.
I looked into Emery's face for a few seconds and started to walk away. "Whatever. You can continue to believe that a BOSS LIKE ME won't get attention from any girls that are, like, not goats."
