Tim ran from the burning gymnsaium, and into the cafateria's kitchen. He grabbed two knives, one to hold, and one to put in his back pocket. Jack, Anna, Jeff, and the rake followed him."Time, what the hell are you doing!?" Asked Anna."I'm gonna kill those son's of bitches!" He yelled. He rushed into the drama club room. He grabbed a white mask with holes for the eyes, nose, and mouth."Dude, why are you wearing that?" Jack asked. Tim looked at him"I need to hide my identity! If I'm gonna go out there, but I fail, I don't want them to know who I am so they can just hurt more of my friends and family!" He replied. He threw a blue mask at Jack. Same one as his, just not white."Come with me! We need to do his for Liza!" He yelled. Jack was shocked at us friends behavior. He was becoming some sort of savage. As soon as he was gong to say something to Tim, Anna cut him off."Jack, you should go with him. There's no stopping him from doing this, and you need to keep an eye on him." As much as Jack hated to admit it, she was right. He threw the mask on and went back into the kitchen to grab a knife."You know that we're coming with you!" Said Jeff. Jack and Tim nodded, lowered their masks, and walked out of the school.

"Wait!" Said Anna."I love you!" Jack raised his mask and kissed her."You too." He said with a soft smile. He put his mask back on, looked at Tim, Jeff, and the rake, and they headed out into the woods. If only they knew it was a bad idea to leave her alone.

It was cold, dark, and snowy. They followed the trail Toby and clockwork had left behind."Hey, uh.....would you mind explaining that "truck load of shit" we need to catch up on?" Asked Jack."Well, uh, we have this......friend of ours, but not really. He's been stalking you since birth, preparing you for some big sacrifice. We were on his side for a while. Recently he told me that you were ready for the sacrifice. So, I tried to kill you, but I was stopped by Rakey, here, and he told me that our friend, the Operator is what he wants us to call him, is actually interested in sacrificing you for his own self gain, because usually when we make a sacrifice, the essence of the souls we steal is spread out amongst all of us, but for some reason, he wants your soul for himself. Some are taking his side, like clockwork, the girl who killed your friend, and some are resisting against him, like us." Replied Jeff."What does he want me for? What makes me so special" asked Jack. Jeff shrugged. It looked like he was going to say something, but wasn't able too because a knife was thrown into his head."OH SHIT!!!!" Jeff yelled. He quickly pulled the knife out and threw it to the ground. They all hid behind a giant bolder, expecting either clockwork or Toby to jump out and strike. To their surprise, they both jumped over the big rock. Toby flung his hatchet at Tim's chest. He fell to the ground, unconscious."Tim!" Yelled Jack. As the rake and Jeff went to attack Toby, Jack noticed clockwork take the hatchet out of him. She slipped an odd looking liquid into the wound. As soon as she did, the wound instantly healed. She looked at Jack."He is like is, now!" She said before swing at Jack. His knife caught hers, and they were locked in a duel.

Her surprisingly quick reflexes caught Jack off guard multiple times, leaving him with many cuts and bruises. When Jack was completely on the ground, clockwork began to kick him with immense force. When she was done, she snuck up on Jeff and the rake, grabbed them by the back of their necks and threw them as hard as she could against the rock."See you latter!" Said clockwork with an evil laugh. Toby picked up his hatchet, and they disappeared into the darkness. Jack got up and helped Jeff and the rake. They quickly rushed over to Tim, picked him up, and brought him back to the school. When they arrived, Anna wasn't there, but that didn't seem to phase Jack. They put him on a table in the nurses office, opened his eyelids, and checked his pupils. He didn't get a concussion when he hit the ground, which was good. They then took his shirt off to check where the hatchet had hit him. There was no wound. It wasn't some hallucination Jack had."Shit" Jeff began."She did what was worried she would do to him." Jack looked worried."What do you mean?" He asked. The rake looked at him and said:"She made him like us. She used a special kind of "poison" and now, he will be like us. Murderous, invulnerable to wounds or death. He'll have a thirst for blood and to kill others." Jack didn't know what to think of this. His best friend would wake up as some kind of murderer."Don't worry, he won't want to kill you or people he's close to. He'll just kill random people he doesn't know." Said Jeff in reassurance. Jack left the room to clear his head. He was out in the hall, sitting in a chair, thinking. He was caught off guard by a trail of blood at the end of the hallway leading into a classroom. He went in. The trail lead to the mangled body of a girl. Her dress was drenched in blood. He tried to wipe some off, but it didn't work. She had multiple stab wounds in her. Jack turned her over to look at her face. When he saw the face of who it was, he gagged. Then he screamed. He stood up and backed away from the body. It was Anna.

Jeff and the rake ran into the room, and saw her on the ground."WHO DID THIS!?" Yelled Jack. A boy entered the room. He wore a green shirt, with a pointed hat of the same color. He was holding a bloody sword. His eyes were pitch black with red pupils, and blood oozed from them."B-Ben?" Said Jack."Hello, Jack," Ben began"This was revenge for letting me drown when we were younger. You shouldn't have done that." Jack shook his head."No! That was an accident!" He yelled."Well, I guess it's too late, now. Your girl is dead. And, hey, you'll be like her, soon, too." Said Ben. Things were bad. And they would only get worse....
