Chapter 4 (Picture of Kacey)

I am currently running for my life. I can't believe they're back..

~*Earlier*~

"Will yo--" He was cut off by the sound of someone's voice behind me.

"Kel. You phone has been ringing for 2 minutes. It's starting to piss me off now."

I huffed in frustration as I grabbed my phone from Lea's hold and just as I unlocked my phone, it started ringing again. I looked at the caller's ID and let out a groan. What does he want?

"What do you want, Danny?!"

"He's back. He knows what happened to Christian 3 years ago. But he has located where you go to school.. Kel? Kelly? Helloooo?" I was in too much shock.. How did he find out...?

~*3 Years Ago*~

I was sitting on one of the benches waiting for Danny to unlock the gate whilst Christian was just randomly dancing. I couldn't hold it no more as I burst out laughing and went up to join him dancing. We heard noises come from the building that was behind the gates.. A gunshot? Not like we haven't heard it before. Finally, Danny had unlocked the gate. I signaled the newbies to come to us.

"Okay you four. You're all familiar with what to do. We've trained you enough but if you let Drew down, I'll make sure that you guys get the punishment and not us three. Okay? Go."

"Do you think they will get what Drew wants without damage?" *sigh* Danny is always worrying about the newbies. Drew is our boss, our leader. We're in a gang and we're always sent out on missions or what Christian calls them, tasks. We have to break into rival's bases and take certain valuable things that we have been told to take. Usually, we have to hack into security cameras and shut them down only to break into the rival leaders safe where we take a large amount of money. Why? Because they owe Drew money for numerous reasons that even I don't know. I guess you could say I'm close with Drew. He's like a big brother to me, a dad I never had but we have our moments but at the end of the day, I will always be thankful to him after he saved my life mentally.

"Ugh, shut up, Danny! They're going to be okay. Wait Christian, did you shut down the cameras?!" I asked with a worried face.

"Umm, n--" We heard another gunshot but this time coming from the area where the newbies would be.

"Ah fuck! QUICK! SHUT DOWN THE CAMERAS!!" I swear that's the quickest he's ever hacked into the system. New record with the time 47 seconds! I can always bring humour into situations like this.

"Done!"

"Good. Now let's g--CHRISTIAN!!!" He had been shot by one of the gang members from the rival gang. I quickly run to the guy and repeatedly punch him in the face until his unconscious and then kick him in the ribs instead of the stomach.. Oops.. I see Christian lying there breathing heavily whilst Danny is pressing down on the wound. I run over to them and place Christian's head in my lap and holding his face. "Please. Stay awake. Please.. Did you call the ambulance?" Danny nods his head. I was so close to breaking down in tears. Christian and Danny were also like my brothers. Drew, Danny and Christian were my family. The only people I have..

Christian survived but things started to get worse. We kept failing our missions, always arguing till I was done. I had had enough so one day when we were all in the same room, the boys were arguing and I shouted at them and told them that I'm leaving because I couldn't handle the pressure anymore and with that, I left and never looked back but now Danny has found me but now Drew has. I have no idea about Christian though..

~*3 Years Later*~

"Sorry Danny. I'm sorry for everything. Look meet me tomorrow outside in the car park at my school and I will talk to you then. I've got to go.." And with that I ended the call and told everyone I had to go and ran out of the front door like my life depended on it.. Well it kind of does..

~*Present Day*~

I ran past the hospital and I could see someone up ahead.. They look like someone I know.. Wait, is it-- Oh no! It's Christian! Drew is right behind me, chasing me might I add and now Christian is like 20 feet away from me. And now it all makes sense. They're coming back for me, to try and get me back.. I turn a left and notice how busy this road is. Ugh! I keep running but notice an alley and quickly run into it. I slide down the wall and tilt my head back trying to catch my breathe.

I hear a slight bang as if something heavy has touched the floor. I look to my to my left and see a big shadow getting closer to me. I start to push myself away from it but then my back hits a wall. Who put that there? I look up and see someone . I look a bit down and see their clenched fists. I recognise those fists anywhere and they're not Drew's or Christian's.. I look up and then instantly know who it is.. I see someone also enter behind the guy. I look back to the person behind me. Why are they here?

"Connor, Blake and.. Danny? What are you doing here?"

I know it probably doesn't make sense now but hopefully in the next chapter or the one after that, it may hopefully make more sense..
