As Frost winged her way out from the palace, she wondered, 'Am I doing the right thing? Would Frostbite want this?' Suddenly she laughed, a soft sound that carried hints of snow and icy wind. Shaking her head, Frost smiled. Who was she kidding? Frostbite had slaughtered countless numbers of prisoners. Of course she would want this.

Frost watched carefully as the ice sheets slowly gave way to the frigid ocean, and then the peaks of mountains in the distance. She thought, 'How should I do this? I can't just fly straight towards the palace; I'll be killed...'  She paused uncertaintly, a frown etched on her face. Slowly she flew forwards and landed on a ledge. Circling, she grimaced as the stone blunt her claws-and realized just how sore her wings were, as she finally flopped down and fell into an uneasy rest. Her last thought was, 'Unfair. I doubt that SkyWing's wings never ache.'

Frost's PoV
--------
I was rudely awakened by the sound of huge wings flapping. SkyWings, no doubt- I was, after all, tresspassing. I cracked open an eyelid and noticed the commander staring at me, a mocking sneer on his face. "Well. She's finally awake," he laughed harshly. I hissed, frostbreath thinly concealed behind it. But before I could kill him, he interrupted, "Oh no you don't. We may be very close to the border, but that doesn't mean Queen Scarlet won't know. " At the mention of Queen Scarlet, rage bubbled up in me, threatening to spill over the top. 'No,' I thought. 'Be nonchalant. You're Frost. The time will come.' I yawned, getting up and stretching. "You know Scarlet? Great. I was just going to pay her a visit," I said. The soldiers growled. "That's Queen Scarlet to you, IceWing," one of them snarled as he made to whip me with his tail. The commander waved him back with his wing, giving the soldier a slight shake of his head, and pointing to the ice around me. The soldier retreated, looking less than happy. I smiled grimly. "We wouldn't want anything...unfortunate to happen, would we? That'd be such a shame," I purred, still smiling. The commander growled. "Watch your mouth, IceWing," he snarled in warning. I tilted my head. "What did I do?" I asked mockingly. He shook his head. "Just get the chains on her and let's go," he barked. A SkyWing carrying a bucket that smoked came forwards. I threw back my head and laughed when I realized what they were going to try to do; Queen Polar had warned me about it. "Do you really think that's going to work on me?" I sneered. The commander hissed at me, tail lashing. "I'm not taking any chances," he stated bluntly. I narrowed my eyes. He was challenging me? Too funny. "No. I'll go willingly if there are no chains," I said. He laughed, saying, "You really think I'll believe that? I'm well aware that IceWings are very good at lying. You'll kill us as soon as we turn our backs." He beckoned the soldier holding the bucket forwards. "Chain her," he ordered, turning his back. I narrowed my eyes at the advancing soldier as I got up and flexed my claws. "Or," I snarled, "there could be a sad little accident. It'd be a real pity if one of Scarlet's commanders just suddenly went missing, wouldn't it." I indicated that it clearly wouldn't be an accident, and I would have absolutely no problem with slaughtering them all. The soldier who had been advancing on me with the bucket paused, hovering uncertaintly, glancing between his officer and me. I grinned wickedly at him and he immediately backpedaled. The commander sighed. "Fine. But if you try anything..." he warned. "Oh, don't you worry. I'll behave myself as long as you don't try anything," I responded. Turning his back, the commander called, "Let's go." Some of the SkyWings started to try and usher me forwards, but I turned and snapped at them. They recoiled, eying me warily. "I'll go when I'm good and ready," I told them. I stretched my wings, a slight smile on my face. I wandered over to the edge of the cliff, and with the blood pounding in my ears, leapt off and flew after the SkyWings. Whooshes of air behind me told me that the remaining SkyWings had pushed off and were following me and watching closely. I let a smirk drift onto my snout, inwardly laughing at the commander for being so foolish. 'I wonder how he'll feel when I stare straight into his eyes with my teeth and talons glinting red and dripping blood when I murder Scarlet, ripping her apart piece by piece and hearing her screams of agony,' I thought wickedly.
