The Combat Leader of the First Circle was a harsh, intimidating, surly IceWing named Crystal. She was renowned for her fighting skills, wits, and bad temper.

"All right, you lot of blubbering walruses! Since you're in the First Circle, I'm expecting nothing short of the best of the best. That goes for all of you!" she snarled, narrowing her eyes and staring all the First Circle dragons down. All but the bravest dragons shrunk under her glare.

Quickly, Crystal surveyed the faces and took in who was there and who wasn't. She said, "Well, well. Glad you could make it, Frost." However, there was nothing glad in her tone. But behind all the fierceness, a spark of fright illuminated her eyes before before the ice froze back over. "We'll be doing partner claw-to-claw combat today. No complaints, ifs, ands, or buts." They were all clearly holding in groans, but nobody dared object.

"Chill, you're with Blizzard. Penguin, you're against Snowflake. Permafrost, let's see...I'll pit you against Floe." Crystal went about, pairing dragons together until only Frost was left. "Sorry, Frost. I don't think you can take part in this without injuring somebody. I'd fight you myself but I don't feel like you could hold your own against me," Crystal said.

"Oh, really?! Try me!" challenged Frost, her voice a low snarl. A small bit of frostbreath floated out from between her jaws, floating lightly to rest on the snow.

"Nah. Not in the mood." Crystal shrugged, turning back to survey the training.

"Faster, Permafrost! Or do I have to demo on you? Snowflake, dodge to you right...no, your other right! Three moons, for First Circle dragons, you have the minds of seals! You're worse than RainWings!"

Frost sighed, turning away and deciding to go for a flight. Nobody would notice her absence anyways. Or care, for that matter.
